وَلَا صَدِيقٍ حَمِيمٍ ﴿١٠١﴾

فَلَوْ أَنَّ لَنَا كَرَّةً فَنَكُونَ مِنَ ٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ ﴿١٠٢﴾

فَلَوْ

Then if
أَنَّ

لَنَا

we had
كَرَّةًۭ
karratan
a return
فَنَكُونَ
fanakūna
then we could be
مِنَ
mina
of
ٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ
l-mu'minīna
the believers
إِنَّ فِى ذَٲلِكَ لَأَيَةًۖ وَمَا كَانَ أَكْثَرُهُم مُّؤْمِنِينَ ﴿١٠٣﴾

Indeed
فِى

ذَٰلِكَ
dhālika
that
لَـَٔايَةًۭ ۖ
laāyatan
surely is a Sign
وَمَا
wamā
but not
كَانَ
kāna
are
أَكْثَرُهُم
aktharuhum
most of them
مُّؤْمِنِينَ
mu'minīna
believers
وَإِنَّ رَبَّكَ لَهُوَ ٱلْعَزِيزُ ٱلرَّحِيمُ ﴿١٠٤﴾

وَإِنَّ
wa-inna
And indeed
رَبَّكَ
rabbaka
your Lord
لَهُوَ
lahuwa
surely He
ٱلْعَزِيزُ
l-ʿazīzu
(is) the All-Mighty
ٱلرَّحِيمُ
l-raḥīmu
the Most Merciful
كَذَّبَتْ قَوْمُ نُوحٍ ٱلْمُرْسَلِينَ ﴿١٠٥﴾

Denied
قَوْمُ
qawmu
(the) people
نُوحٍ
nūḥin
(of) Nuh
ٱلْمُرْسَلِينَ
l-mur'salīna
the Messengers
إِذْ قَالَ لَهُمْ أَخُوهُمْ نُوحٌ أَلَا تَتَّقُونَ ﴿١٠٦﴾

أَخُوهُمْ

نُوحٌ

Nuh
أَلَا

Will not
تَتَّقُونَ

you fear (Allah)
إِنِّى لَكُمْ رَسُولٌ أَمِينٌ ﴿١٠٧﴾

Indeed, I am
لَكُمْ
lakum
to you
رَسُولٌ
rasūlun
a Messenger
أَمِينٌۭ
amīnun
trustworthy
فَٱتَّقُواْ ٱللَّهَ وَأَطِيعُونِ ﴿١٠٨﴾

فَٱتَّقُوا۟
fa-ittaqū
So fear
ٱللَّهَ
l-laha
Allah
وَأَطِيعُونِ
wa-aṭīʿūni
and obey me
وَمَآ أَسْــَٔلُكُمْ عَلَيْهِ مِنْ أَجْرٍۖ إِنْ أَجْرِىَ إِلَّا عَلَىٰ رَبِّ ٱلْعَـٰلَمِينَ ﴿١٠٩﴾

وَمَآ
wamā
And not
أَسْـَٔلُكُمْ
asalukum
I ask (of) you
عَلَيْهِ
ʿalayhi
for it
مِنْ
min
any
أَجْرٍ ۖ
ajrin
payment
إِنْ
in
Not
أَجْرِىَ
ajriya
(is) my payment
إِلَّا
illā
but
عَلَىٰ
ʿalā
from
رَبِّ
rabbi
(the) Lord
ٱلْعَـٰلَمِينَ
l-ʿālamīna
(of) the worlds
فَٱتَّقُواْ ٱللَّهَ وَأَطِيعُونِ ﴿١١٠﴾

فَٱتَّقُوا۟
fa-ittaqū
So fear
ٱللَّهَ
l-laha
Allah
وَأَطِيعُونِ
wa-aṭīʿūni
and obey me
۞ قَالُوٓاْ أَنُؤْمِنُ لَكَ وَٱتَّبَعَكَ ٱلْأَرْذَلُونَ ﴿١١١﴾

۞ قَالُوٓا۟

They said
أَنُؤْمِنُ
anu'minu
Should we believe
لَكَ
laka
in you
وَٱتَّبَعَكَ
wa-ittabaʿaka
while followed you
ٱلْأَرْذَلُونَ
l-ardhalūna
the lowest
قَالَ وَمَا عِلْمِى بِمَا كَانُواْ يَعْمَلُونَ ﴿١١٢﴾

He said
وَمَا
wamā
And what
عِلْمِى
ʿil'mī
(do) I know
بِمَا
bimā
of what
كَانُوا۟
kānū
they used
يَعْمَلُونَ
yaʿmalūna
(to) do
إِنْ حِسَابُهُمْ إِلَّا عَلَىٰ رَبِّىۖ لَوْ تَشْعُرُونَ ﴿١١٣﴾

إِنْ
in
Verily
حِسَابُهُمْ
ḥisābuhum
their account
إِلَّا
illā
(is) but
عَلَىٰ
ʿalā
upon
رَبِّى ۖ
rabbī
my Lord
لَوْ
law
if
تَشْعُرُونَ
tashʿurūna
you perceive
وَمَآ أَنَا۟ بِطَارِدِ ٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ ﴿١١٤﴾

وَمَآ
wamā
And not
أَنَا۠
anā
I am
بِطَارِدِ
biṭāridi
the one to drive away
ٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ
l-mu'minīna
the believers
إِنْ أَنَا۟ إِلَّا نَذِيرٌ مُّبِينٌ ﴿١١٥﴾

إِنْ
in
Not
أَنَا۠
anā
I am
إِلَّا
illā
but
نَذِيرٌۭ
nadhīrun
a warner
مُّبِينٌۭ
mubīnun
clear
قَالُواْ لَئِن لَّمْ تَنتَهِ يَـٰنُوحُ لَتَكُونَنَّ مِنَ ٱلْمَرْجُومِينَ ﴿١١٦﴾

They said
لَئِن

If
لَّمْ
lam
not
تَنتَهِ
tantahi
you desist
يَـٰنُوحُ
yānūḥu
O Nuh
لَتَكُونَنَّ
latakūnanna
Surely you will be
مِنَ
mina
of
ٱلْمَرْجُومِينَ
l-marjūmīna
those who are stoned
قَالَ رَبِّ إِنَّ قَوْمِى كَذَّبُونِ ﴿١١٧﴾

He said
رَبِّ
rabbi
My Lord
إِنَّ
inna
Indeed
قَوْمِى
qawmī
my people
كَذَّبُونِ
kadhabūni
have denied me
فَٱفْتَحْ بَيْنِى وَبَيْنَهُمْ فَتْحًا وَنَجِّنِى وَمَن مَّعِىَ مِنَ ٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ ﴿١١٨﴾

فَٱفْتَحْ
fa-if'taḥ
So judge
بَيْنِى
baynī
between me
وَبَيْنَهُمْ
wabaynahum
and between them
فَتْحًۭا
fatḥan
(with decisive) judgment
وَنَجِّنِى
wanajjinī
and save me
وَمَن
waman
and who
مَّعِىَ
maʿiya
(are) with me
مِنَ
mina
of
ٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ
l-mu'minīna
the believers
فَأَنجَيْنَـٰهُ وَمَن مَّعَهُۥ فِى ٱلْفُلْكِ ٱلْمَشْحُونِ ﴿١١٩﴾

فَأَنجَيْنَـٰهُ
fa-anjaynāhu
So We saved him
وَمَن
waman
and who
مَّعَهُۥ
maʿahu
(were) with him
فِى
fī
in
ٱلْفُلْكِ
l-ful'ki
the ship
ٱلْمَشْحُونِ
l-mashḥūni
laden
ثُمَّ أَغْرَقْنَا بَعْدُ ٱلْبَاقِينَ ﴿١٢٠﴾

ثُمَّ
thumma
Then
أَغْرَقْنَا
aghraqnā
We drowned
بَعْدُ
baʿdu
thereafter
ٱلْبَاقِينَ
l-bāqīna
the remaining ones
إِنَّ فِى ذَٲلِكَ لَأَيَةًۖ وَمَا كَانَ أَكْثَرُهُم مُّؤْمِنِينَ ﴿١٢١﴾

inna
Indeed
فِى
fī
in
ذَٰلِكَ
dhālika
that
لَـَٔايَةًۭ ۖ
laāyatan
surely, (is) a sign
وَمَا
wamā
but not
كَانَ
kāna
are
أَكْثَرُهُم

most of them
مُّؤْمِنِينَ
mu'minīna
believers
وَإِنَّ رَبَّكَ لَهُوَ ٱلْعَزِيزُ ٱلرَّحِيمُ ﴿١٢٢﴾

And indeed
رَبَّكَ
rabbaka
your Lord
لَهُوَ
lahuwa
surely, He
ٱلْعَزِيزُ
l-ʿazīzu
(is) the All-Mighty
ٱلرَّحِيمُ

كَذَّبَتْ عَادٌ ٱلْمُرْسَلِينَ ﴿١٢٣﴾
