أَلَمْ تَرَ إِلَى ٱلَّذِينَ أُوتُواْ نَصِيبًا مِّنَ ٱلْكِتَـٰبِ يُؤْمِنُونَ بِٱلْجِبْتِ وَٱلطَّـٰغُوتِ وَيَقُولُونَ لِلَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ هَـٰٓؤُلَآءِ أَهْدَىٰ مِنَ ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ سَبِيلاً ﴿٥١﴾
Mot à mot
أَلَمْ
alam
Do not
تَرَ
tara
you see
إِلَى
ilā
[towards]
ٱلَّذِينَ
alladhīna
those who
أُوتُوا۟
ūtū
were given
نَصِيبًۭا
naṣīban
a portion
مِّنَ
mina
of
ٱلْكِتَـٰبِ
l-kitābi
the Book
يُؤْمِنُونَ
yu'minūna
They believe
بِٱلْجِبْتِ
bil-jib'ti
in the superstition
وَٱلطَّـٰغُوتِ
wal-ṭāghūti
and the false deities
وَيَقُولُونَ
wayaqūlūna
and they say
لِلَّذِينَ
lilladhīna
for those who
كَفَرُوا۟
kafarū
disbelieve[d]
هَـٰٓؤُلَآءِ
hāulāi
These
أَهْدَىٰ
ahdā
(are) better guided
مِنَ
mina
than
ٱلَّذِينَ
alladhīna
those who
ءَامَنُوا۟
āmanū
believe[d]
سَبِيلًا
sabīlan
(as to the) way
أُوْلَـٰٓئِكَ ٱلَّذِينَ لَعَنَهُمُ ٱللَّهُۖ وَمَن يَلْعَنِ ٱللَّهُ فَلَن تَجِدَ لَهُۥ نَصِيرًا ﴿٥٢﴾
Mot à mot
أُو۟لَـٰٓئِكَ
ulāika
Those
ٱلَّذِينَ
alladhīna
(are) the ones
لَعَنَهُمُ
laʿanahumu
(who have been) cursed
ٱللَّهُ ۖ
l-lahu
(by) Allah
وَمَن
waman
and whoever
يَلْعَنِ
yalʿani
(is) cursed
ٱللَّهُ
l-lahu
(by) Allah
فَلَن
falan
then never
تَجِدَ
tajida
will you find
لَهُۥ
lahu
for him
نَصِيرًا
naṣīran
(any) helper
أَمْ لَهُمْ نَصِيبٌ مِّنَ ٱلْمُلْكِ فَإِذًا لَّا يُؤْتُونَ ٱلنَّاسَ نَقِيرًا ﴿٥٣﴾

أَمْ
am
Or
لَهُمْ
lahum
for them
نَصِيبٌۭ
naṣībun
(is) a share
مِّنَ
mina
of
ٱلْمُلْكِ
l-mul'ki
the Kingdom
فَإِذًۭا
fa-idhan
Then
لَّا
lā
not would
يُؤْتُونَ
yu'tūna
they give
ٱلنَّاسَ
l-nāsa
the people
نَقِيرًا
naqīran
(even as much as the) speck on a date seed
أَمْ يَحْسُدُونَ ٱلنَّاسَ عَلَىٰ مَآ ءَاتَـٰهُمُ ٱللَّهُ مِن فَضْلِهِۦۖ فَقَدْ ءَاتَيْنَآ ءَالَ إِبْرَٲهِيمَ ٱلْكِتَـٰبَ وَٱلْحِكْمَةَ وَءَاتَيْنَـٰهُم مُّلْكًا عَظِيمًا ﴿٥٤﴾
Mot à mot
أَمْ
am
Or
يَحْسُدُونَ
yaḥsudūna
are they jealous
ٱلنَّاسَ
l-nāsa
(of) the people
عَلَىٰ
ʿalā
for
مَآ
mā
what
ءَاتَىٰهُمُ
ātāhumu
gave them
ٱللَّهُ
l-lahu
Allah
مِن
min
from
فَضْلِهِۦ ۖ
faḍlihi
His Bounty
فَقَدْ
faqad
But surely
ءَاتَيْنَآ
ātaynā
We gave
ءَالَ
āla
(the) family
إِبْرَٰهِيمَ
ib'rāhīma
(of) Ibrahim
ٱلْكِتَـٰبَ
l-kitāba
the Book
وَٱلْحِكْمَةَ
wal-ḥik'mata
and [the] wisdom
وَءَاتَيْنَـٰهُم
waātaynāhum
and [We] gave them
مُّلْكًا
mul'kan
a kingdom
عَظِيمًۭا
ʿaẓīman
great
فَمِنْهُم مَّنْ ءَامَنَ بِهِۦ وَمِنْهُم مَّن صَدَّ عَنْهُۚ وَكَفَىٰ بِجَهَنَّمَ سَعِيرًا ﴿٥٥﴾
Mot à mot
فَمِنْهُم
famin'hum
Then of them
مَّنْ
man
(are some) who
ءَامَنَ
āmana
believed
بِهِۦ
bihi
in him
وَمِنْهُم
wamin'hum
and of them
مَّن
man
(are some) who
صَدَّ
ṣadda
turned away
عَنْهُ ۚ
ʿanhu
from him
وَكَفَىٰ
wakafā
and sufficient
بِجَهَنَّمَ
bijahannama
(is) Hell
سَعِيرًا
saʿīran
(as a) Blazing Fire
إِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ بِـَٔـايَـٰتِنَا سَوْفَ نُصْلِيهِمْ نَارًا كُلَّمَا نَضِجَتْ جُلُودُهُم بَدَّلْنَـٰهُمْ جُلُودًا غَيْرَهَا لِيَذُوقُواْ ٱلْعَذَابَۗ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ كَانَ عَزِيزًا حَكِيمًا ﴿٥٦﴾
Mot à mot
إِنَّ
inna
Indeed
ٱلَّذِينَ
alladhīna
those who
كَفَرُوا۟
kafarū
disbelieved
بِـَٔايَـٰتِنَا
biāyātinā
in Our Signs
سَوْفَ
sawfa
soon
نُصْلِيهِمْ
nuṣ'līhim
We will burn them
نَارًۭا
nāran
(in) a Fire
كُلَّمَا
kullamā
Every time
نَضِجَتْ
naḍijat
are roasted
جُلُودُهُم
julūduhum
their skins
بَدَّلْنَـٰهُمْ
baddalnāhum
We will change their
جُلُودًا
julūdan
skins
غَيْرَهَا
ghayrahā
for other (than) that
لِيَذُوقُوا۟
liyadhūqū
so that they may taste
ٱلْعَذَابَ ۗ
l-ʿadhāba
the punishment
إِنَّ
inna
Indeed
ٱللَّهَ
l-laha
Allah
كَانَ
kāna
is
عَزِيزًا
ʿazīzan
All-Mighty
حَكِيمًۭا
ḥakīman
All-Wise
وَٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ وَعَمِلُواْ ٱلصَّـٰلِحَـٰتِ سَنُدْخِلُهُمْ جَنَّـٰتٍ تَجْرِى مِن تَحْتِهَا ٱلْأَنْهَـٰرُ خَـٰلِدِينَ فِيهَآ أَبَدًاۖ لَّهُمْ فِيهَآ أَزْوَٲجٌ مُّطَهَّرَةٌۖ وَنُدْخِلُهُمْ ظِلاًّ ظَلِيلاً ﴿٥٧﴾
Mot à mot
وَٱلَّذِينَ
wa-alladhīna
And those who
ءَامَنُوا۟
āmanū
believe[d]
وَعَمِلُوا۟
waʿamilū
and did
ٱلصَّـٰلِحَـٰتِ
l-ṣāliḥāti
the good deeds
سَنُدْخِلُهُمْ
sanud'khiluhum
We will admit them
جَنَّـٰتٍۢ
jannātin
(in) Gardens
تَجْرِى
tajrī
flows
مِن
min
from
تَحْتِهَا
taḥtihā
underneath it
ٱلْأَنْهَـٰرُ
l-anhāru
the rivers
خَـٰلِدِينَ
khālidīna
will abide
فِيهَآ
fīhā
in it
أَبَدًۭا ۖ
abadan
forever
لَّهُمْ
lahum
For them
فِيهَآ
fīhā
in it
أَزْوَٰجٌۭ
azwājun
(are) spouses
مُّطَهَّرَةٌۭ ۖ
muṭahharatun
pure
وَنُدْخِلُهُمْ
wanud'khiluhum
and We will admit them
ظِلًّۭا
ẓillan
(in the) shade
ظَلِيلًا
ẓalīlan
thick
۞ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ يَأْمُرُكُمْ أَن تُؤَدُّواْ ٱلْأَمَـٰنَـٰتِ إِلَىٰٓ أَهْلِهَا وَإِذَا حَكَمْتُم بَيْنَ ٱلنَّاسِ أَن تَحْكُمُواْ بِٱلْعَدْلِۚ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ نِعِمَّا يَعِظُكُم بِهِۦٓۗ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ كَانَ سَمِيعَۢا بَصِيرًا ﴿٥٨﴾

۞ إِنَّ
inna
Indeed
ٱللَّهَ
l-laha
Allah
يَأْمُرُكُمْ
yamurukum
orders you
أَن
an
to
تُؤَدُّوا۟
tu-addū
render
ٱلْأَمَـٰنَـٰتِ
l-amānāti
the trusts
إِلَىٰٓ
ilā
to
أَهْلِهَا
ahlihā
their owners
وَإِذَا
wa-idhā
and when
حَكَمْتُم
ḥakamtum
you judge
بَيْنَ
bayna
between
ٱلنَّاسِ
l-nāsi
the people
أَن
an
to
تَحْكُمُوا۟
taḥkumū
judge
بِٱلْعَدْلِ ۚ
bil-ʿadli
with justice
إِنَّ
inna
Indeed
ٱللَّهَ
l-laha
Allah
نِعِمَّا
niʿimmā
excellently
يَعِظُكُم
yaʿiẓukum
advises you
بِهِۦٓ ۗ
bihi
with it
إِنَّ
inna
Indeed
ٱللَّهَ
l-laha
Allah
كَانَ
kāna
is
سَمِيعًۢا
samīʿan
All-Hearing
بَصِيرًۭا
baṣīran
All-Seeing
يَـٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوٓاْ أَطِيعُواْ ٱللَّهَ وَأَطِيعُواْ ٱلرَّسُولَ وَأُوْلِى ٱلْأَمْرِ مِنكُمْۖ فَإِن تَنَـٰزَعْتُمْ فِى شَىْءٍ فَرُدُّوهُ إِلَى ٱللَّهِ وَٱلرَّسُولِ إِن كُنتُمْ تُؤْمِنُونَ بِٱللَّهِ وَٱلْيَوْمِ ٱلْأَخِرِۚ ذَٲلِكَ خَيْرٌ وَأَحْسَنُ تَأْوِيلاً ﴿٥٩﴾

يَـٰٓأَيُّهَا
yāayyuhā
O you
ٱلَّذِينَ
alladhīna
who
ءَامَنُوٓا۟
āmanū
believe[d]
أَطِيعُوا۟
aṭīʿū
Obey
ٱللَّهَ
l-laha
Allah
وَأَطِيعُوا۟
wa-aṭīʿū
and obey
ٱلرَّسُولَ
l-rasūla
the Messenger
وَأُو۟لِى
wa-ulī
and those
ٱلْأَمْرِ
l-amri
(having) authority
مِنكُمْ ۖ
minkum
among you
فَإِن
fa-in
Then if
تَنَـٰزَعْتُمْ
tanāzaʿtum
you disagree
فِى
fī
in
شَىْءٍۢ
shayin
anything
فَرُدُّوهُ
faruddūhu
refer it
إِلَى
ilā
to
ٱللَّهِ
l-lahi
Allah
وَٱلرَّسُولِ
wal-rasūli
and the Messenger
إِن
in
if
كُنتُمْ
kuntum
you
تُؤْمِنُونَ
tu'minūna
believe
بِٱللَّهِ
bil-lahi
in Allah
وَٱلْيَوْمِ
wal-yawmi
and the Day
ٱلْـَٔاخِرِ ۚ
l-ākhiri
[the] Last
ذَٰلِكَ
dhālika
That
خَيْرٌۭ
khayrun
(is) best
وَأَحْسَنُ
wa-aḥsanu
and more suitable
تَأْوِيلًا
tawīlan
(for final) determination
أَلَمْ تَرَ إِلَى ٱلَّذِينَ يَزْعُمُونَ أَنَّهُمْ ءَامَنُواْ بِمَآ أُنزِلَ إِلَيْكَ وَمَآ أُنزِلَ مِن قَبْلِكَ يُرِيدُونَ أَن يَتَحَاكَمُوٓاْ إِلَى ٱلطَّـٰغُوتِ وَقَدْ أُمِرُوٓاْ أَن يَكْفُرُواْ بِهِۦ وَيُرِيدُ ٱلشَّيْطَـٰنُ أَن يُضِلَّهُمْ ضَلَـٰلاَۢ بَعِيدًا ﴿٦٠﴾

أَلَمْ
alam
Do not
تَرَ
tara
you see
إِلَى
ilā
[towards]
ٱلَّذِينَ
alladhīna
those who
يَزْعُمُونَ
yazʿumūna
claim
أَنَّهُمْ
annahum
that they
ءَامَنُوا۟
āmanū
believe
بِمَآ
bimā
in what
أُنزِلَ
unzila
(is) revealed
إِلَيْكَ
ilayka
to you
وَمَآ
wamā
and what
أُنزِلَ
unzila
was revealed
مِن
min
from
قَبْلِكَ
qablika
before you
يُرِيدُونَ
yurīdūna
They wish
أَن
an
to
يَتَحَاكَمُوٓا۟
yataḥākamū
go for judgment
إِلَى
ilā
to
ٱلطَّـٰغُوتِ
l-ṭāghūti
the false deities
وَقَدْ
waqad
and surely
أُمِرُوٓا۟
umirū
they were ordered
أَن
an
to
يَكْفُرُوا۟
yakfurū
reject
بِهِۦ
bihi
[with] it
وَيُرِيدُ
wayurīdu
And wishes
ٱلشَّيْطَـٰنُ
l-shayṭānu
the Shaitaan
أَن
an
to
يُضِلَّهُمْ
yuḍillahum
mislead them
ضَلَـٰلًۢا
ḍalālan
astray
بَعِيدًۭا
baʿīdan
far away
وَإِذَا قِيلَ لَهُمْ تَعَالَوْاْ إِلَىٰ مَآ أَنزَلَ ٱللَّهُ وَإِلَى ٱلرَّسُولِ رَأَيْتَ ٱلْمُنَـٰفِقِينَ يَصُدُّونَ عَنكَ صُدُودًا ﴿٦١﴾

وَإِذَا
wa-idhā
And when
قِيلَ
qīla
it is said
لَهُمْ
lahum
to them
تَعَالَوْا۟
taʿālaw
Come
إِلَىٰ
ilā
to
مَآ
mā
what
أَنزَلَ
anzala
(has) revealed
ٱللَّهُ
l-lahu
Allah
وَإِلَى
wa-ilā
and to
ٱلرَّسُولِ
l-rasūli
the Messenger
رَأَيْتَ
ra-ayta
you see
ٱلْمُنَـٰفِقِينَ
l-munāfiqīna
the hypocrites
يَصُدُّونَ
yaṣuddūna
turning away
عَنكَ
ʿanka
from you
صُدُودًۭا
ṣudūdan
(in) aversion
فَكَيْفَ إِذَآ أَصَـٰبَتْهُم مُّصِيبَةُۢ بِمَا قَدَّمَتْ أَيْدِيهِمْ ثُمَّ جَآءُوكَ يَحْلِفُونَ بِٱللَّهِ إِنْ أَرَدْنَآ إِلَّآ إِحْسَـٰنًا وَتَوْفِيقًا ﴿٦٢﴾

فَكَيْفَ
fakayfa
So how
إِذَآ
idhā
when
أَصَـٰبَتْهُم
aṣābathum
befalls them
مُّصِيبَةٌۢ
muṣībatun
disaster
بِمَا
bimā
for what
قَدَّمَتْ
qaddamat
sent forth
أَيْدِيهِمْ
aydīhim
their hands
ثُمَّ
thumma
then
جَآءُوكَ
jāūka
they come to you
يَحْلِفُونَ
yaḥlifūna
swearing
بِٱللَّهِ
bil-lahi
by Allah
إِنْ
in
Not
أَرَدْنَآ
aradnā
we intended
إِلَّآ
illā
except
إِحْسَـٰنًۭا
iḥ'sānan
good
وَتَوْفِيقًا
watawfīqan
and reconciliation
أُوْلَـٰٓئِكَ ٱلَّذِينَ يَعْلَمُ ٱللَّهُ مَا فِى قُلُوبِهِمْ فَأَعْرِضْ عَنْهُمْ وَعِظْهُمْ وَقُل لَّهُمْ فِىٓ أَنفُسِهِمْ قَوْلاَۢ بَلِيغًا ﴿٦٣﴾

أُو۟لَـٰٓئِكَ
ulāika
Those
ٱلَّذِينَ
alladhīna
(are) the ones who
يَعْلَمُ
yaʿlamu
knows
ٱللَّهُ
l-lahu
Allah
مَا
mā
what
فِى
fī
(is) in
قُلُوبِهِمْ
qulūbihim
their hearts
فَأَعْرِضْ
fa-aʿriḍ
so turn away
عَنْهُمْ
ʿanhum
from them
وَعِظْهُمْ
waʿiẓ'hum
and admonish them
وَقُل
waqul
and say
لَّهُمْ
lahum
to them
فِىٓ
fī
concerning
أَنفُسِهِمْ
anfusihim
their souls
قَوْلًۢا
qawlan
a word
بَلِيغًۭا
balīghan
penetrating
وَمَآ أَرْسَلْنَا مِن رَّسُولٍ إِلَّا لِيُطَاعَ بِإِذْنِ ٱللَّهِۚ وَلَوْ أَنَّهُمْ إِذ ظَّلَمُوٓاْ أَنفُسَهُمْ جَآءُوكَ فَٱسْتَغْفَرُواْ ٱللَّهَ وَٱسْتَغْفَرَ لَهُمُ ٱلرَّسُولُ لَوَجَدُواْ ٱللَّهَ تَوَّابًا رَّحِيمًا ﴿٦٤﴾

وَمَآ
wamā
And not
أَرْسَلْنَا
arsalnā
We sent
مِن
min
any
رَّسُولٍ
rasūlin
Messenger
إِلَّا
illā
except
لِيُطَاعَ
liyuṭāʿa
to be obeyed
بِإِذْنِ
bi-idh'ni
by (the) permission
ٱللَّهِ ۚ
l-lahi
(of) Allah
وَلَوْ
walaw
And if
أَنَّهُمْ
annahum
[that] they
إِذ
idh
when
ظَّلَمُوٓا۟
ẓalamū
they wronged
أَنفُسَهُمْ
anfusahum
themselves
جَآءُوكَ
jāūka
(had) come to you
فَٱسْتَغْفَرُوا۟
fa-is'taghfarū
and asked forgiveness
ٱللَّهَ
l-laha
(of) Allah
وَٱسْتَغْفَرَ
wa-is'taghfara
and asked forgiveness
لَهُمُ
lahumu
for them
ٱلرَّسُولُ
l-rasūlu
the Messenger
لَوَجَدُوا۟
lawajadū
surely they would have found
ٱللَّهَ
l-laha
Allah
تَوَّابًۭا
tawwāban
Oft-Forgiving
رَّحِيمًۭا
raḥīman
Most Merciful
فَلَا وَرَبِّكَ لَا يُؤْمِنُونَ حَتَّىٰ يُحَكِّمُوكَ فِيمَا شَجَرَ بَيْنَهُمْ ثُمَّ لَا يَجِدُواْ فِىٓ أَنفُسِهِمْ حَرَجًا مِّمَّا قَضَيْتَ وَيُسَلِّمُواْ تَسْلِيمًا ﴿٦٥﴾

فَلَا
falā
But no
وَرَبِّكَ
warabbika
by your Lord
لَا
lā
not
يُؤْمِنُونَ
yu'minūna
will they believe
حَتَّىٰ
ḥattā
until
يُحَكِّمُوكَ
yuḥakkimūka
they make you judge
فِيمَا
fīmā
about what
شَجَرَ
shajara
arises
بَيْنَهُمْ
baynahum
between them
ثُمَّ
thumma
then
لَا
lā
not
يَجِدُوا۟
yajidū
they find
فِىٓ
fī
in
أَنفُسِهِمْ
anfusihim
themselves
حَرَجًۭا
ḥarajan
any discomfort
مِّمَّا
mimmā
about what
قَضَيْتَ
qaḍayta
you (have) decided
وَيُسَلِّمُوا۟
wayusallimū
and submit
تَسْلِيمًۭا
taslīman
(in full) submission
وَلَوْ أَنَّا كَتَبْنَا عَلَيْهِمْ أَنِ ٱقْتُلُوٓاْ أَنفُسَكُمْ أَوِ ٱخْرُجُواْ مِن دِيَـٰرِكُم مَّا فَعَلُوهُ إِلَّا قَلِيلٌ مِّنْهُمْۖ وَلَوْ أَنَّهُمْ فَعَلُواْ مَا يُوعَظُونَ بِهِۦ لَكَانَ خَيْرًا لَّهُمْ وَأَشَدَّ تَثْبِيتًا ﴿٦٦﴾

وَلَوْ
walaw
And if
أَنَّا
annā
[that] We
كَتَبْنَا
katabnā
(had) decreed
عَلَيْهِمْ
ʿalayhim
on them
أَنِ
ani
that
ٱقْتُلُوٓا۟
uq'tulū
Kill
أَنفُسَكُمْ
anfusakum
yourselves
أَوِ
awi
or
ٱخْرُجُوا۟
ukh'rujū
Go forth
مِن
min
from
دِيَـٰرِكُم
diyārikum
your homes
مَّا
mā
not
فَعَلُوهُ
faʿalūhu
they would have done it
إِلَّا
illā
except
قَلِيلٌۭ
qalīlun
a few
مِّنْهُمْ ۖ
min'hum
of them
وَلَوْ
walaw
But if
أَنَّهُمْ
annahum
[that] they
فَعَلُوا۟
faʿalū
had done
مَا
mā
what
يُوعَظُونَ
yūʿaẓūna
they were advised
بِهِۦ
bihi
with [it]
لَكَانَ
lakāna
surely (it) would have been
خَيْرًۭا
khayran
better
لَّهُمْ
lahum
for them
وَأَشَدَّ
wa-ashadda
and stronger
تَثْبِيتًۭا
tathbītan
strengthen(ing)
وَإِذًا لَّأَتَيْنَـٰهُم مِّن لَّدُنَّآ أَجْرًا عَظِيمًا ﴿٦٧﴾

وَإِذًۭا
wa-idhan
And then
لَّـَٔاتَيْنَـٰهُم
laātaynāhum
We would (have) given them
مِّن
min
from
لَّدُنَّآ
ladunnā
Ourselves
أَجْرًا
ajran
a reward
عَظِيمًۭا
ʿaẓīman
great
وَلَهَدَيْنَـٰهُمْ صِرَٲطًا مُّسْتَقِيمًا ﴿٦٨﴾
Mot à mot
وَلَهَدَيْنَـٰهُمْ
walahadaynāhum
And We would have guided them
صِرَٰطًۭا
ṣirāṭan
(to the) way
مُّسْتَقِيمًۭا
mus'taqīman
(the) straight
وَمَن يُطِعِ ٱللَّهَ وَٱلرَّسُولَ فَأُوْلَـٰٓئِكَ مَعَ ٱلَّذِينَ أَنْعَمَ ٱللَّهُ عَلَيْهِم مِّنَ ٱلنَّبِيِّــۧنَ وَٱلصِّدِّيقِينَ وَٱلشُّهَدَآءِ وَٱلصَّـٰلِحِينَۚ وَحَسُنَ أُوْلَـٰٓئِكَ رَفِيقًا ﴿٦٩﴾

وَمَن
waman
And whoever
يُطِعِ
yuṭiʿi
obeys
ٱللَّهَ
l-laha
Allah
وَٱلرَّسُولَ
wal-rasūla
and the Messenger
فَأُو۟لَـٰٓئِكَ
fa-ulāika
then those
مَعَ
maʿa
(will be) with
ٱلَّذِينَ
alladhīna
those whom
أَنْعَمَ
anʿama
has bestowed (His) Favor
ٱللَّهُ
l-lahu
Allah
عَلَيْهِم
ʿalayhim
upon them
مِّنَ
mina
of
ٱلنَّبِيِّـۧنَ
l-nabiyīna
the Prophets
وَٱلصِّدِّيقِينَ
wal-ṣidīqīna
and the truthful
وَٱلشُّهَدَآءِ
wal-shuhadāi
and the martyrs
وَٱلصَّـٰلِحِينَ ۚ
wal-ṣāliḥīna
and the righteous
وَحَسُنَ
waḥasuna
And excellent
أُو۟لَـٰٓئِكَ
ulāika
(are) those
رَفِيقًۭا
rafīqan
companion(s)
ذَٲلِكَ ٱلْفَضْلُ مِنَ ٱللَّهِۚ وَكَفَىٰ بِٱللَّهِ عَلِيمًا ﴿٧٠﴾
Mot à mot
ذَٰلِكَ
dhālika
That
ٱلْفَضْلُ
l-faḍlu
(is) the Bounty
مِنَ
mina
of
ٱللَّهِ ۚ
l-lahi
Allah
وَكَفَىٰ
wakafā
and sufficient
بِٱللَّهِ
bil-lahi
Allah
عَلِيمًۭا
ʿalīman
(as) All-Knower
يَـٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ خُذُواْ حِذْرَكُمْ فَٱنفِرُواْ ثُبَاتٍ أَوِ ٱنفِرُواْ جَمِيعًا ﴿٧١﴾
Mot à mot
يَـٰٓأَيُّهَا
yāayyuhā
O you
ٱلَّذِينَ
alladhīna
who
ءَامَنُوا۟
āmanū
believe[d]
خُذُوا۟
khudhū
Take
حِذْرَكُمْ
ḥidh'rakum
your precautions
فَٱنفِرُوا۟
fa-infirū
and advance
ثُبَاتٍ
thubātin
(in) groups
أَوِ
awi
or
ٱنفِرُوا۟
infirū
advance
جَمِيعًۭا
jamīʿan
all together
وَإِنَّ مِنكُمْ لَمَن لَّيُبَطِّئَنَّ فَإِنْ أَصَـٰبَتْكُم مُّصِيبَةٌ قَالَ قَدْ أَنْعَمَ ٱللَّهُ عَلَىَّ إِذْ لَمْ أَكُن مَّعَهُمْ شَهِيدًا ﴿٧٢﴾
Mot à mot
وَإِنَّ
wa-inna
And indeed
مِنكُمْ
minkum
among you
لَمَن
laman
(is he) who
لَّيُبَطِّئَنَّ
layubaṭṭi-anna
lags behind
فَإِنْ
fa-in
then if
أَصَـٰبَتْكُم
aṣābatkum
befalls you
مُّصِيبَةٌۭ
muṣībatun
a disaster
قَالَ
qāla
he said
قَدْ
qad
Verily
أَنْعَمَ
anʿama
(has) favored
ٱللَّهُ
l-lahu
Allah
عَلَىَّ
ʿalayya
[on] me
إِذْ
idh
[when]
لَمْ
lam
(that) not
أَكُن
akun
I was
مَّعَهُمْ
maʿahum
with them
شَهِيدًۭا
shahīdan
present
وَلَئِنْ أَصَـٰبَكُمْ فَضْلٌ مِّنَ ٱللَّهِ لَيَقُولَنَّ كَأَن لَّمْ تَكُنۢ بَيْنَكُمْ وَبَيْنَهُۥ مَوَدَّةٌ يَـٰلَيْتَنِى كُنتُ مَعَهُمْ فَأَفُوزَ فَوْزًا عَظِيمًا ﴿٧٣﴾
Mot à mot
وَلَئِنْ
wala-in
And if
أَصَـٰبَكُمْ
aṣābakum
befalls you
فَضْلٌۭ
faḍlun
bounty
مِّنَ
mina
from
ٱللَّهِ
l-lahi
Allah
لَيَقُولَنَّ
layaqūlanna
he would surely say
كَأَن
ka-an
as if
لَّمْ
lam
(had) not
تَكُنۢ
takun
there been
بَيْنَكُمْ
baynakum
between you
وَبَيْنَهُۥ
wabaynahu
and between him
مَوَدَّةٌۭ
mawaddatun
any affection
يَـٰلَيْتَنِى
yālaytanī
Oh! I wish
كُنتُ
kuntu
I had been
مَعَهُمْ
maʿahum
with them
فَأَفُوزَ
fa-afūza
then I would have attained
فَوْزًا
fawzan
a success
عَظِيمًۭا
ʿaẓīman
great
۞ فَلْيُقَـٰتِلْ فِى سَبِيلِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلَّذِينَ يَشْرُونَ ٱلْحَيَوٲةَ ٱلدُّنْيَا بِٱلْأَخِرَةِۚ وَمَن يُقَـٰتِلْ فِى سَبِيلِ ٱللَّهِ فَيُقْتَلْ أَوْ يَغْلِبْ فَسَوْفَ نُؤْتِيهِ أَجْرًا عَظِيمًا ﴿٧٤﴾
Mot à mot
۞ فَلْيُقَـٰتِلْ
falyuqātil
So let fight
فِى
fī
in
سَبِيلِ
sabīli
(the) way
ٱللَّهِ
l-lahi
(of) Allah
ٱلَّذِينَ
alladhīna
those who
يَشْرُونَ
yashrūna
sell
ٱلْحَيَوٰةَ
l-ḥayata
the life
ٱلدُّنْيَا
l-dun'yā
(of) the world
بِٱلْـَٔاخِرَةِ ۚ
bil-ākhirati
for the Hereafter
وَمَن
waman
And whoever
يُقَـٰتِلْ
yuqātil
fights
فِى
fī
in
سَبِيلِ
sabīli
(the) way
ٱللَّهِ
l-lahi
(of) Allah
فَيُقْتَلْ
fayuq'tal
then he is killed
أَوْ
aw
or
يَغْلِبْ
yaghlib
achieves victory
فَسَوْفَ
fasawfa
then soon
نُؤْتِيهِ
nu'tīhi
We will grant him
أَجْرًا
ajran
a reward
عَظِيمًۭا
ʿaẓīman
a great
وَمَا لَكُمْ لَا تُقَـٰتِلُونَ فِى سَبِيلِ ٱللَّهِ وَٱلْمُسْتَضْعَفِينَ مِنَ ٱلرِّجَالِ وَٱلنِّسَآءِ وَٱلْوِلْدَٲنِ ٱلَّذِينَ يَقُولُونَ رَبَّنَآ أَخْرِجْنَا مِنْ هَـٰذِهِ ٱلْقَرْيَةِ ٱلظَّالِمِ أَهْلُهَا وَٱجْعَل لَّنَا مِن لَّدُنكَ وَلِيًّا وَٱجْعَل لَّنَا مِن لَّدُنكَ نَصِيرًا ﴿٧٥﴾
Mot à mot
وَمَا
wamā
And what
لَكُمْ
lakum
for you
لَا
lā
(that) not
تُقَـٰتِلُونَ
tuqātilūna
you fight
فِى
fī
in
سَبِيلِ
sabīli
(the) way
ٱللَّهِ
l-lahi
(of) Allah
وَٱلْمُسْتَضْعَفِينَ
wal-mus'taḍʿafīna
and (for) those who are weak
مِنَ
mina
among
ٱلرِّجَالِ
l-rijāli
the men
وَٱلنِّسَآءِ
wal-nisāi
and the women
وَٱلْوِلْدَٰنِ
wal-wil'dāni
and the children
ٱلَّذِينَ
alladhīna
those who
يَقُولُونَ
yaqūlūna
say
رَبَّنَآ
rabbanā
Our Lord
أَخْرِجْنَا
akhrij'nā
take us out
مِنْ
min
of
هَـٰذِهِ
hādhihi
this
ٱلْقَرْيَةِ
l-qaryati
[the] town
ٱلظَّالِمِ
l-ẓālimi
[the] oppressor(s)
أَهْلُهَا
ahluhā
(are) its people
وَٱجْعَل
wa-ij'ʿal
and appoint
لَّنَا
lanā
for us
مِن
min
from
لَّدُنكَ
ladunka
Yourself
وَلِيًّۭا
waliyyan
a protector
وَٱجْعَل
wa-ij'ʿal
and appoint
لَّنَا
lanā
for us
مِن
min
from
لَّدُنكَ
ladunka
Yourself
نَصِيرًا
naṣīran
