بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَـٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ
ٱلرَّحْمَـٰنُ ﴿١﴾

ٱلرَّحْمَـٰنُ
al-raḥmānu
The Most Gracious
عَلَّمَ ٱلْقُرْءَانَ ﴿٢﴾
Mot à mot
عَلَّمَ
ʿallama
He taught
ٱلْقُرْءَانَ
l-qur'āna
the Quran
خَلَقَ ٱلْإِنسَـٰنَ ﴿٣﴾
Mot à mot
خَلَقَ
khalaqa
He created
ٱلْإِنسَـٰنَ
l-insāna
[the] man
عَلَّمَهُ ٱلْبَيَانَ ﴿٤﴾
Mot à mot
عَلَّمَهُ
ʿallamahu
He taught him
ٱلْبَيَانَ
l-bayāna
[the] speech
ٱلشَّمْسُ وَٱلْقَمَرُ بِحُسْبَانٍ ﴿٥﴾
Mot à mot
ٱلشَّمْسُ
al-shamsu
The sun
وَٱلْقَمَرُ
wal-qamaru
and the moon
بِحُسْبَانٍۢ
biḥus'bānin
by (precise) calculation
وَٱلنَّجْمُ وَٱلشَّجَرُ يَسْجُدَانِ ﴿٦﴾
Mot à mot
وَٱلنَّجْمُ
wal-najmu
And the stars
وَٱلشَّجَرُ
wal-shajaru
and the trees
يَسْجُدَانِ
yasjudāni
both prostrate
وَٱلسَّمَآءَ رَفَعَهَا وَوَضَعَ ٱلْمِيزَانَ ﴿٧﴾
Mot à mot
وَٱلسَّمَآءَ
wal-samāa
And the heaven
رَفَعَهَا
rafaʿahā
He raised it
وَوَضَعَ
wawaḍaʿa
and He has set up
ٱلْمِيزَانَ
l-mīzāna
the balance
أَلَّا تَطْغَوْاْ فِى ٱلْمِيزَانِ ﴿٨﴾
Mot à mot
أَلَّا
allā
That not
تَطْغَوْا۟
taṭghaw
you may transgress
فِى
fī
in
ٱلْمِيزَانِ
l-mīzāni
the balance
وَأَقِيمُواْ ٱلْوَزْنَ بِٱلْقِسْطِ وَلَا تُخْسِرُواْ ٱلْمِيزَانَ ﴿٩﴾
Mot à mot
وَأَقِيمُوا۟
wa-aqīmū
And establish
ٱلْوَزْنَ
l-wazna
the weight
بِٱلْقِسْطِ
bil-qis'ṭi
in justice
وَلَا
walā
and (do) not
تُخْسِرُوا۟
tukh'sirū
make deficient
ٱلْمِيزَانَ
l-mīzāna
the balance
وَٱلْأَرْضَ وَضَعَهَا لِلْأَنَامِ ﴿١٠﴾
Mot à mot
وَٱلْأَرْضَ
wal-arḍa
And the earth
وَضَعَهَا
waḍaʿahā
He laid it
لِلْأَنَامِ
lil'anāmi
for the creatures
فِيهَا فَـٰكِهَةٌ وَٱلنَّخْلُ ذَاتُ ٱلْأَكْمَامِ ﴿١١﴾

فِيهَا
fīhā
Therein
فَـٰكِهَةٌۭ
fākihatun
(is) fruit
وَٱلنَّخْلُ
wal-nakhlu
and date-palms
ذَاتُ
dhātu
having
ٱلْأَكْمَامِ
l-akmāmi
sheaths
وَٱلْحَبُّ ذُو ٱلْعَصْفِ وَٱلرَّيْحَانُ ﴿١٢﴾

وَٱلْحَبُّ
wal-ḥabu
And the grain
ذُو
dhū
having
ٱلْعَصْفِ
l-ʿaṣfi
husk
وَٱلرَّيْحَانُ
wal-rayḥānu
and scented plants
فَبِأَىِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ ﴿١٣﴾

فَبِأَىِّ
fabi-ayyi
So which
ءَالَآءِ
ālāi
(of the) favors
رَبِّكُمَا
rabbikumā
(of) your Lord
تُكَذِّبَانِ
tukadhibāni
will you both deny
خَلَقَ ٱلْإِنسَـٰنَ مِن صَلْصَـٰلٍ كَٱلْفَخَّارِ ﴿١٤﴾
Mot à mot
خَلَقَ
khalaqa
He created
ٱلْإِنسَـٰنَ
l-insāna
the man
مِن
min
from
صَلْصَـٰلٍۢ
ṣalṣālin
clay
كَٱلْفَخَّارِ
kal-fakhāri
like the pottery
وَخَلَقَ ٱلْجَآنَّ مِن مَّارِجٍ مِّن نَّارٍ ﴿١٥﴾

وَخَلَقَ
wakhalaqa
And He created
ٱلْجَآنَّ
l-jāna
the jinn
مِن
min
from
مَّارِجٍۢ
mārijin
a smokeless flame
مِّن
min
of
نَّارٍۢ
nārin
fire
فَبِأَىِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ ﴿١٦﴾

فَبِأَىِّ
fabi-ayyi
So which
ءَالَآءِ
ālāi
(of the) favors
رَبِّكُمَا
rabbikumā
(of) your Lord
تُكَذِّبَانِ
tukadhibāni
will you both deny
رَبُّ ٱلْمَشْرِقَيْنِ وَرَبُّ ٱلْمَغْرِبَيْنِ ﴿١٧﴾

رَبُّ
rabbu
Lord
ٱلْمَشْرِقَيْنِ
l-mashriqayni
(of) the two Easts
وَرَبُّ
warabbu
and Lord
ٱلْمَغْرِبَيْنِ
l-maghribayni
(of) the two Wests
فَبِأَىِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ ﴿١٨﴾

فَبِأَىِّ
fabi-ayyi
So which
ءَالَآءِ
ālāi
(of the) favors
رَبِّكُمَا
rabbikumā
(of) your Lord
تُكَذِّبَانِ
tukadhibāni
will you both deny
مَرَجَ ٱلْبَحْرَيْنِ يَلْتَقِيَانِ ﴿١٩﴾
Mot à mot
مَرَجَ
maraja
He released
ٱلْبَحْرَيْنِ
l-baḥrayni
the two seas
يَلْتَقِيَانِ
yaltaqiyāni
meeting
بَيْنَهُمَا بَرْزَخٌ لَّا يَبْغِيَانِ ﴿٢٠﴾
Mot à mot
بَيْنَهُمَا
baynahumā
Between both of them
بَرْزَخٌۭ
barzakhun
(is) a barrier
لَّا
lā
not
يَبْغِيَانِ
yabghiyāni
they transgress
فَبِأَىِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ ﴿٢١﴾

فَبِأَىِّ
fabi-ayyi
So which
ءَالَآءِ
ālāi
(of the) favors
رَبِّكُمَا
rabbikumā
(of) your Lord
تُكَذِّبَانِ
tukadhibāni
will you both deny
يَخْرُجُ مِنْهُمَا ٱللُّؤْلُؤُ وَٱلْمَرْجَانُ ﴿٢٢﴾

يَخْرُجُ
yakhruju
Come forth
مِنْهُمَا
min'humā
from both of them
ٱللُّؤْلُؤُ
l-lu'lu-u
the pearl
وَٱلْمَرْجَانُ
wal-marjānu
and the coral
فَبِأَىِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ ﴿٢٣﴾

فَبِأَىِّ
fabi-ayyi
So which
ءَالَآءِ
ālāi
(of the) favors
رَبِّكُمَا
rabbikumā
(of) your Lord
تُكَذِّبَانِ
tukadhibāni
will you both deny
وَلَهُ ٱلْجَوَارِ ٱلْمُنشَـَٔـاتُ فِى ٱلْبَحْرِ كَٱلْأَعْلَـٰمِ ﴿٢٤﴾
Mot à mot
وَلَهُ
walahu
And for Him
ٱلْجَوَارِ
l-jawāri
(are) the ships
ٱلْمُنشَـَٔاتُ
l-munshaātu
elevated
فِى
fī
in
ٱلْبَحْرِ
l-baḥri
the sea
كَٱلْأَعْلَـٰمِ
kal-aʿlāmi
like mountains
فَبِأَىِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ ﴿٢٥﴾

فَبِأَىِّ
fabi-ayyi
So which
ءَالَآءِ
ālāi
(of the) favors
رَبِّكُمَا
rabbikumā
(of) your Lord
تُكَذِّبَانِ
tukadhibāni
will you both deny
