Al-Mursalat

أَحْيَآءًۭ

aḥyāan

(For the) living

وَأَمْوَٰتًۭا

wa-amwātan

and (the) dead

وَجَعَلْنَا

wajaʿalnā

And We made

فِيهَا

fīhā

therein

رَوَٰسِىَ

rawāsiya

firmly set mountains

شَـٰمِخَـٰتٍۢ

shāmikhātin

lofty

وَأَسْقَيْنَـٰكُم

wa-asqaynākum

and We gave you to drink

مَّآءًۭ

māan

water

فُرَاتًۭا

furātan

sweet

وَيْلٌۭ

waylun

Woe

يَوْمَئِذٍۢ

yawma-idhin

that Day

لِّلْمُكَذِّبِينَ

lil'mukadhibīna

to the deniers

ٱنطَلِقُوٓا۟

inṭaliqū

Proceed

إِلَىٰ

ilā

to

مَا

mā

what

كُنتُم

kuntum

you used to

بِهِۦ

bihi

in it

تُكَذِّبُونَ

tukadhibūna

deny

ٱنطَلِقُوٓا۟

inṭaliqū

Proceed

إِلَىٰ

ilā

to

ظِلٍّۢ

ẓillin

a shadow

ذِى

dhī

having

ثَلَـٰثِ

thalāthi

three

شُعَبٍۢ

shuʿabin

columns

لَّا

lā

No

ظَلِيلٍۢ

ẓalīlin

cool shade

وَلَا

walā

and not

يُغْنِى

yugh'nī

availing

مِنَ

mina

against

ٱللَّهَبِ

l-lahabi

the flame

إِنَّهَا

innahā

Indeed, it

تَرْمِى

tarmī

throws up

بِشَرَرٍۢ

bishararin

sparks

كَٱلْقَصْرِ

kal-qaṣri

as the fortress

كَأَنَّهُۥ

ka-annahu

As if they (were)

جِمَـٰلَتٌۭ

jimālatun

camels

صُفْرٌۭ

ṣuf'run

yellow

وَيْلٌۭ

waylun

Woe

يَوْمَئِذٍۢ

yawma-idhin

that Day

لِّلْمُكَذِّبِينَ

lil'mukadhibīna

to the deniers

هَـٰذَا

hādhā

This

يَوْمُ

yawmu

(is) a Day

لَا

lā

not

يَنطِقُونَ

yanṭiqūna

they will speak

وَلَا

walā

And not

يُؤْذَنُ

yu'dhanu

will it be permitted

لَهُمْ

lahum

for them

فَيَعْتَذِرُونَ

fayaʿtadhirūna

to make excuses

وَيْلٌۭ

waylun

Woe

يَوْمَئِذٍۢ

yawma-idhin

that Day

لِّلْمُكَذِّبِينَ

lil'mukadhibīna

to the deniers

هَـٰذَا

hādhā

This

يَوْمُ

yawmu

(is the) Day

ٱلْفَصْلِ ۖ

l-faṣli

(of) Judgment

جَمَعْنَـٰكُمْ

jamaʿnākum

We have gathered you

وَٱلْأَوَّلِينَ

wal-awalīna

and the former (people)

فَإِن

fa-in

So if

كَانَ

kāna

is

لَكُمْ

lakum

for you

كَيْدٌۭ

kaydun

a plan

فَكِيدُونِ

fakīdūni

then plan against Me

وَيْلٌۭ

waylun

Woe

يَوْمَئِذٍۢ

yawma-idhin

that Day

لِّلْمُكَذِّبِينَ

lil'mukadhibīna

to the deniers

إِنَّ

inna

Indeed

ٱلْمُتَّقِينَ

l-mutaqīna

the righteous

فِى

fī

(will be) in

ظِلَـٰلٍۢ

ẓilālin

shades

وَعُيُونٍۢ

waʿuyūnin

and springs

وَفَوَٰكِهَ

wafawākiha

And fruits

مِمَّا

mimmā

from what

يَشْتَهُونَ

yashtahūna

they desire

كُلُوا۟

kulū

Eat

وَٱشْرَبُوا۟

wa-ish'rabū

and drink

هَنِيٓـًٔۢا

hanīan

(in) satisfaction

بِمَا

bimā

for what

كُنتُمْ

kuntum

you used to

تَعْمَلُونَ

taʿmalūna

do

إِنَّا

innā

Indeed, We

كَذَٰلِكَ

kadhālika

thus

نَجْزِى

najzī

reward

ٱلْمُحْسِنِينَ

l-muḥ'sinīna

the good-doers

وَيْلٌۭ

waylun

Woe

يَوْمَئِذٍۢ

yawma-idhin

that Day

لِّلْمُكَذِّبِينَ

lil'mukadhibīna

to the deniers

كُلُوا۟

kulū

Eat

وَتَمَتَّعُوا۟

watamattaʿū

and enjoy yourselves

قَلِيلًا

qalīlan

a little

إِنَّكُم

innakum

indeed, you

مُّجْرِمُونَ

muj'rimūna

(are) criminals

وَيْلٌۭ

waylun

Woe

يَوْمَئِذٍۢ

yawma-idhin

that Day

لِّلْمُكَذِّبِينَ

lil'mukadhibīna

to the deniers

وَإِذَا

wa-idhā

And when

قِيلَ

qīla

it is said

لَهُمُ

lahumu

to them

ٱرْكَعُوا۟

ir'kaʿū

Bow

لَا

lā

not

يَرْكَعُونَ

yarkaʿūna

they bow

وَيْلٌۭ

waylun

Woe

يَوْمَئِذٍۢ

yawma-idhin

that Day

لِّلْمُكَذِّبِينَ

lil'mukadhibīna

to the deniers

فَبِأَىِّ

fabi-ayyi

Then in what

حَدِيثٍۭ

ḥadīthin

statement

بَعْدَهُۥ

baʿdahu

after it

يُؤْمِنُونَ

yu'minūna

will they believe
