يَـٰٓأَيُّهَا

yāayyuhā

O

ٱلَّذِينَ

alladhīna

you (who)

ءَامَنُوٓا۟

āmanū

believe

أَوْفُوا۟

awfū

Fulfil

بِٱلْعُقُودِ ۚ

bil-ʿuqūdi

the contracts

أُحِلَّتْ

uḥillat

Are made lawful

لَكُم

lakum

for you

بَهِيمَةُ

bahīmatu

the quadruped

ٱلْأَنْعَـٰمِ

l-anʿāmi

(of) the grazing livestock

إِلَّا

illā

except

مَا

mā

what

يُتْلَىٰ

yut'lā

is recited

عَلَيْكُمْ

ʿalaykum

on you

غَيْرَ

ghayra

not

مُحِلِّى

muḥillī

being permitted

ٱلصَّيْدِ

l-ṣaydi

(to) hunt

وَأَنتُمْ

wa-antum

while you

حُرُمٌ ۗ

ḥurumun

(are in) Ihram

إِنَّ

inna

Indeed

ٱللَّهَ

l-laha

Allah

يَحْكُمُ

yaḥkumu

decrees

مَا

mā

what

يُرِيدُ

yurīdu

He wills

يَـٰٓأَيُّهَا

yāayyuhā

O

ٱلَّذِينَ

alladhīna

you (who)

ءَامَنُوا۟

āmanū

believe

لَا

lā

(Do) not

تُحِلُّوا۟

tuḥillū

violate

شَعَـٰٓئِرَ

shaʿāira

(the) rites

ٱللَّهِ

l-lahi

(of) Allah

وَلَا

walā

and not

ٱلشَّهْرَ

l-shahra

the month

ٱلْحَرَامَ

l-ḥarāma

the sacred

وَلَا

walā

and not

ٱلْهَدْىَ

l-hadya

the sacrificial animals

وَلَا

walā

and not

ٱلْقَلَـٰٓئِدَ

l-qalāida

the garlanded

وَلَآ

walā

and not

ءَآمِّينَ

āmmīna

(those) coming

ٱلْبَيْتَ

l-bayta

(to) the House

ٱلْحَرَامَ

l-ḥarāma

the Sacred

يَبْتَغُونَ

yabtaghūna

seeking

فَضْلًۭا

faḍlan

Bounty

مِّن

min

of

رَّبِّهِمْ

rabbihim

their Lord

وَرِضْوَٰنًۭا ۚ

wariḍ'wānan

and good pleasure

وَإِذَا

wa-idhā

And when

حَلَلْتُمْ

ḥalaltum

you come out of Ihram

فَٱصْطَادُوا۟ ۚ

fa-iṣ'ṭādū

then (you may) hunt

وَلَا

walā

And let not

يَجْرِمَنَّكُمْ

yajrimannakum

incite you

شَنَـَٔانُ

shanaānu

(the) hatred

قَوْمٍ

qawmin

(for) a people

أَن

an

as

صَدُّوكُمْ

ṣaddūkum

they stopped you

عَنِ

ʿani

from

ٱلْمَسْجِدِ

l-masjidi

Al-Masjid

ٱلْحَرَامِ

l-ḥarāmi

Al-Haraam

أَن

an

that

تَعْتَدُوا۟ ۘ

taʿtadū

you commit transgression

وَتَعَاوَنُوا۟

wataʿāwanū

And help one another

عَلَى

ʿalā

in

ٱلْبِرِّ

l-biri

[the] righteousness

وَٱلتَّقْوَىٰ ۖ

wal-taqwā

and [the] piety

وَلَا

walā

but (do) not

تَعَاوَنُوا۟

taʿāwanū

help one another

عَلَى

ʿalā

in

ٱلْإِثْمِ

l-ith'mi

[the] sin

وَٱلْعُدْوَٰنِ ۚ

wal-ʿud'wāni

and [the] transgression

وَٱتَّقُوا۟

wa-ittaqū

And fear

ٱللَّهَ ۖ

l-laha

Allah

إِنَّ

inna

indeed

ٱللَّهَ

l-laha

Allah

شَدِيدُ

shadīdu

(is) severe

ٱلْعِقَابِ

l-ʿiqābi

(in) [the] punishment

حُرِّمَتْ

ḥurrimat

Are made unlawful

عَلَيْكُمُ

ʿalaykumu

on you

ٱلْمَيْتَةُ

l-maytatu

the dead animals

وَٱلدَّمُ

wal-damu

and the blood

وَلَحْمُ

walaḥmu

and flesh

ٱلْخِنزِيرِ

l-khinzīri

(of) the swine

وَمَآ

wamā

and what

أُهِلَّ

uhilla

has been dedicated

لِغَيْرِ

lighayri

to other than

ٱللَّهِ

l-lahi

Allah

بِهِۦ

bihi

[on it]

وَٱلْمُنْخَنِقَةُ

wal-mun'khaniqatu

and that which is strangled (to death)

وَٱلْمَوْقُوذَةُ

wal-mawqūdhatu

and that which is hit fatally

وَٱلْمُتَرَدِّيَةُ

wal-mutaradiyatu

and that which has a fatal fall

وَٱلنَّطِيحَةُ

wal-naṭīḥatu

and that which is gored by horns

وَمَآ

wamā

and that which

أَكَلَ

akala

ate (it)

ٱلسَّبُعُ

l-sabuʿu

the wild animal

إِلَّا

illā

except

مَا

mā

what

ذَكَّيْتُمْ

dhakkaytum

you slaughtered

وَمَا

wamā

and what

ذُبِحَ

dhubiḥa

is sacrificed

عَلَى

ʿalā

on

ٱلنُّصُبِ

l-nuṣubi

the stone altars

وَأَن

wa-an

and that

تَسْتَقْسِمُوا۟

tastaqsimū

you seek division

بِٱلْأَزْلَـٰمِ ۚ

bil-azlāmi

by divining arrows

ذَٰلِكُمْ

dhālikum

that

فِسْقٌ ۗ

fis'qun

(is) grave disobedience

ٱلْيَوْمَ

l-yawma

This day

يَئِسَ

ya-isa

(have) despaired

ٱلَّذِينَ

alladhīna

those who

كَفَرُوا۟

kafarū

disbelieved

مِن

min

of

دِينِكُمْ

dīnikum

your religion

فَلَا

falā

so (do) not

تَخْشَوْهُمْ

takhshawhum

fear them

وَٱخْشَوْنِ ۚ

wa-ikh'shawni

but fear Me

ٱلْيَوْمَ

l-yawma

This day

أَكْمَلْتُ

akmaltu

I have perfected

لَكُمْ

lakum

for you

دِينَكُمْ

dīnakum

your religion

وَأَتْمَمْتُ

wa-atmamtu

and I have completed

عَلَيْكُمْ

ʿalaykum

upon you

نِعْمَتِى

niʿ'matī

My Favor

وَرَضِيتُ

waraḍītu

and I have approved

لَكُمُ

lakumu

for you

ٱلْإِسْلَـٰمَ

l-is'lāma

[the] Islam

دِينًۭا ۚ

dīnan

(as) a religion

فَمَنِ

famani

But whoever

ٱضْطُرَّ

uḍ'ṭurra

(is) forced

فِى

fī

by

مَخْمَصَةٍ

makhmaṣatin

hunger

غَيْرَ

ghayra

(and) not

مُتَجَانِفٍۢ

mutajānifin

inclining

لِّإِثْمٍۢ ۙ

li-ith'min

to sin

فَإِنَّ

fa-inna

then indeed

ٱللَّهَ

l-laha

Allah

غَفُورٌۭ

ghafūrun

(is) Oft-Forgiving

رَّحِيمٌۭ

raḥīmun

Most Merciful

يَسْـَٔلُونَكَ

yasalūnaka

They ask you

مَاذَآ

mādhā

what

أُحِلَّ

uḥilla

(is) made lawful

لَهُمْ ۖ

lahum

for them

قُلْ

qul

Say

أُحِلَّ

uḥilla

Are made lawful

لَكُمُ

lakumu

for you

ٱلطَّيِّبَـٰتُ ۙ

l-ṭayibātu

the good things

وَمَا

wamā

and what

عَلَّمْتُم

ʿallamtum

you have taught

مِّنَ

mina

of

ٱلْجَوَارِحِ

l-jawāriḥi

(your) hunting animals

مُكَلِّبِينَ

mukallibīna

ones who train animals to hunt

تُعَلِّمُونَهُنَّ

tuʿallimūnahunna

you teach them

مِمَّا

mimmā

of what

عَلَّمَكُمُ

ʿallamakumu

has taught you

ٱللَّهُ ۖ

l-lahu

Allah

فَكُلُوا۟

fakulū

So eat

مِمَّآ

mimmā

of what

أَمْسَكْنَ

amsakna

they catch

عَلَيْكُمْ

ʿalaykum

for you

وَٱذْكُرُوا۟

wa-udh'kurū

but mention

ٱسْمَ

is'ma

(the) name

ٱللَّهِ

l-lahi

(of) Allah

عَلَيْهِ ۖ

ʿalayhi

on it

وَٱتَّقُوا۟

wa-ittaqū

and fear

ٱللَّهَ ۚ

l-laha

Allah

إِنَّ

inna

Indeed

ٱللَّهَ

l-laha

Allah

سَرِيعُ

sarīʿu

is swift

ٱلْحِسَابِ

l-ḥisābi

(in taking) account

ٱلْيَوْمَ

al-yawma

This day

أُحِلَّ

uḥilla

are made lawful

لَكُمُ

lakumu

for you

ٱلطَّيِّبَـٰتُ ۖ

l-ṭayibātu

the good things

وَطَعَامُ

waṭaʿāmu

and (the) food

ٱلَّذِينَ

alladhīna

(of) those who

أُوتُوا۟

ūtū

were given

ٱلْكِتَـٰبَ

l-kitāba

the Book

حِلٌّۭ

ḥillun

(is) lawful

لَّكُمْ

lakum

for you

وَطَعَامُكُمْ

waṭaʿāmukum

and your food

حِلٌّۭ

ḥillun

(is) lawful

لَّهُمْ ۖ

lahum

for them

وَٱلْمُحْصَنَـٰتُ

wal-muḥ'ṣanātu

And the chaste women

مِنَ

mina

from

ٱلْمُؤْمِنَـٰتِ

l-mu'mināti

the believers

وَٱلْمُحْصَنَـٰتُ

wal-muḥ'ṣanātu

and the chaste women

مِنَ

mina

from

ٱلَّذِينَ

alladhīna

those who

أُوتُوا۟

ūtū

were given

ٱلْكِتَـٰبَ

l-kitāba

the Book

مِن

min

from

قَبْلِكُمْ

qablikum

before you

إِذَآ

idhā

when

ءَاتَيْتُمُوهُنَّ

ātaytumūhunna

you have given them

أُجُورَهُنَّ

ujūrahunna

their bridal due

مُحْصِنِينَ

muḥ'ṣinīna

being chaste

غَيْرَ

ghayra

not

مُسَـٰفِحِينَ

musāfiḥīna

being lewd

وَلَا

walā

and not

مُتَّخِذِىٓ

muttakhidhī

ones (who are) taking

أَخْدَانٍۢ ۗ

akhdānin

secret lovers

وَمَن

waman

And whoever

يَكْفُرْ

yakfur

denies

بِٱلْإِيمَـٰنِ

bil-īmāni

the faith

فَقَدْ

faqad

then surely

حَبِطَ

ḥabiṭa

(are) wasted

عَمَلُهُۥ

ʿamaluhu

his deeds

وَهُوَ

wahuwa

and he

فِى

fī

in

ٱلْـَٔاخِرَةِ

l-ākhirati

the Hereafter

مِنَ

mina

(will be) among

ٱلْخَـٰسِرِينَ

l-khāsirīna

the losers

يَـٰٓأَيُّهَا

yāayyuhā

O you

ٱلَّذِينَ

alladhīna

who

ءَامَنُوٓا۟

āmanū

believe

إِذَا

idhā

When

قُمْتُمْ

qum'tum

you stand up

إِلَى

ilā

for

ٱلصَّلَوٰةِ

l-ṣalati

the prayer

فَٱغْسِلُوا۟

fa-igh'silū

then wash

وُجُوهَكُمْ

wujūhakum

your faces

وَأَيْدِيَكُمْ

wa-aydiyakum

and your hands

إِلَى

ilā

till

ٱلْمَرَافِقِ

l-marāfiqi

the elbows

وَٱمْسَحُوا۟

wa-im'saḥū

and wipe

بِرُءُوسِكُمْ

biruūsikum

your heads

وَأَرْجُلَكُمْ

wa-arjulakum

and your feet

إِلَى

ilā

till

ٱلْكَعْبَيْنِ ۚ

l-kaʿbayni

the ankles

وَإِن

wa-in

But if

كُنتُمْ

kuntum

you are

جُنُبًۭا

junuban

(in) a state of ceremonial impurity

فَٱطَّهَّرُوا۟ ۚ

fa-iṭṭahharū

then purify yourselves

وَإِن

wa-in

But if

كُنتُم

kuntum

you are

مَّرْضَىٰٓ

marḍā

ill

أَوْ

aw

or

عَلَىٰ

ʿalā

on

سَفَرٍ

safarin

a journey

أَوْ

aw

or

جَآءَ

jāa

has come

أَحَدٌۭ

aḥadun

anyone

مِّنكُم

minkum

of you

مِّنَ

mina

from

ٱلْغَآئِطِ

l-ghāiṭi

the toilet

أَوْ

aw

or

لَـٰمَسْتُمُ

lāmastumu

has (had) contact

ٱلنِّسَآءَ

l-nisāa

(with) the women

فَلَمْ

falam

and not

تَجِدُوا۟

tajidū

you find

مَآءًۭ

māan

water

فَتَيَمَّمُوا۟

fatayammamū

then do tayyammum

صَعِيدًۭا

ṣaʿīdan

(with) earth

طَيِّبًۭا

ṭayyiban

clean

فَٱمْسَحُوا۟

fa-im'saḥū

then wipe

بِوُجُوهِكُمْ

biwujūhikum

your faces

وَأَيْدِيكُم

wa-aydīkum

and your hands

مِّنْهُ ۚ

min'hu

with it

مَا

mā

Does not

يُرِيدُ

yurīdu

intend

ٱللَّهُ

l-lahu

Allah

لِيَجْعَلَ

liyajʿala

to make

عَلَيْكُم

ʿalaykum

for you

مِّنْ

min

any

حَرَجٍۢ

ḥarajin

difficulty

وَلَـٰكِن

walākin

but

يُرِيدُ

yurīdu

He intends

لِيُطَهِّرَكُمْ

liyuṭahhirakum

to purify you

وَلِيُتِمَّ

waliyutimma

and to complete

نِعْمَتَهُۥ

niʿ'matahu

His Favor

عَلَيْكُمْ

ʿalaykum

upon you

لَعَلَّكُمْ

laʿallakum

so that you may

تَشْكُرُونَ

tashkurūna

(be) grateful

وَٱذْكُرُوا۟

wa-udh'kurū

And remember

نِعْمَةَ

niʿ'mata

(the) Favor

ٱللَّهِ

l-lahi

(of) Allah

عَلَيْكُمْ

ʿalaykum

upon you

وَمِيثَـٰقَهُ

wamīthāqahu

and His covenant

ٱلَّذِى

alladhī

which

وَاثَقَكُم

wāthaqakum

He bound you

بِهِۦٓ

bihi

with [it]

إِذْ

idh

when

قُلْتُمْ

qul'tum

you said

سَمِعْنَا

samiʿ'nā

We heard

وَأَطَعْنَا ۖ

wa-aṭaʿnā

and we obeyed

وَٱتَّقُوا۟

wa-ittaqū

and fear

ٱللَّهَ ۚ

l-laha

Allah

إِنَّ

inna

Indeed

ٱللَّهَ

l-laha

Allah

عَلِيمٌۢ

ʿalīmun

(is) All-Knower

بِذَاتِ

bidhāti

of what

ٱلصُّدُورِ

l-ṣudūri

(is in) the breasts

يَـٰٓأَيُّهَا

yāayyuhā

O you

ٱلَّذِينَ

alladhīna

who

ءَامَنُوا۟

āmanū

believe

كُونُوا۟

kūnū

Be

قَوَّٰمِينَ

qawwāmīna

steadfast

لِلَّهِ

lillahi

for Allah

شُهَدَآءَ

shuhadāa

(as) witnesses

بِٱلْقِسْطِ ۖ

bil-qis'ṭi

in justice

وَلَا

walā

and let not

يَجْرِمَنَّكُمْ

yajrimannakum

prevent you

شَنَـَٔانُ

shanaānu

hatred

قَوْمٍ

qawmin

(of) a people

عَلَىٰٓ

ʿalā

[upon]

أَلَّا

allā

that not

تَعْدِلُوا۟ ۚ

taʿdilū

you do justice

ٱعْدِلُوا۟

iʿ'dilū

Be just

هُوَ

huwa

it

أَقْرَبُ

aqrabu

(is) nearer

لِلتَّقْوَىٰ ۖ

lilttaqwā

to [the] piety

وَٱتَّقُوا۟

wa-ittaqū

And fear

ٱللَّهَ ۚ

l-laha

Allah

إِنَّ

inna

indeed

ٱللَّهَ

l-laha

Allah

خَبِيرٌۢ

khabīrun

(is) All-Aware

بِمَا

bimā

of what

تَعْمَلُونَ

taʿmalūna

you do

وَعَدَ

waʿada

Has promised

ٱللَّهُ

l-lahu

Allah

ٱلَّذِينَ

alladhīna

those who

ءَامَنُوا۟

āmanū

believe

وَعَمِلُوا۟

waʿamilū

and do

ٱلصَّـٰلِحَـٰتِ ۙ

l-ṣāliḥāti

the righteous deeds

لَهُم

lahum

for them

مَّغْفِرَةٌۭ

maghfiratun

(is) forgiveness

وَأَجْرٌ

wa-ajrun

and a reward

عَظِيمٌۭ

ʿaẓīmun

great

وَٱلَّذِينَ

wa-alladhīna

And those who

كَفَرُوا۟

kafarū

disbelieve

وَكَذَّبُوا۟

wakadhabū

and deny

بِـَٔايَـٰتِنَآ

biāyātinā

Our Signs

أُو۟لَـٰٓئِكَ

ulāika

those

أَصْحَـٰبُ

aṣḥābu

(are the) companions

ٱلْجَحِيمِ

l-jaḥīmi

(of) the Hellfire

يَـٰٓأَيُّهَا

yāayyuhā

O you

ٱلَّذِينَ

alladhīna

who

ءَامَنُوا۟

āmanū

believe

ٱذْكُرُوا۟

udh'kurū

Remember

نِعْمَتَ

niʿ'mata

(the) Favor

ٱللَّهِ

l-lahi

(of) Allah

عَلَيْكُمْ

ʿalaykum

upon you

إِذْ

idh

when

هَمَّ

hamma

determined

قَوْمٌ

qawmun

a people

أَن

an

that

يَبْسُطُوٓا۟

yabsuṭū

they stretch

إِلَيْكُمْ

ilaykum

towards you

أَيْدِيَهُمْ

aydiyahum

their hands

فَكَفَّ

fakaffa

but He restrained

أَيْدِيَهُمْ

aydiyahum

their hands

عَنكُمْ ۖ

ʿankum

from you

وَٱتَّقُوا۟

wa-ittaqū

And fear

ٱللَّهَ ۚ

l-laha

Allah

وَعَلَى

waʿalā

And upon

ٱللَّهِ

l-lahi

Allah

فَلْيَتَوَكَّلِ

falyatawakkali

so let put the trust

ٱلْمُؤْمِنُونَ

l-mu'minūna

the believers

۞ وَلَقَدْ

walaqad

And certainly

أَخَذَ

akhadha

took

ٱللَّهُ

l-lahu

Allah

مِيثَـٰقَ

mīthāqa

a Covenant

بَنِىٓ

banī

(from the) Children

إِسْرَٰٓءِيلَ

is'rāīla

(of) Israel

وَبَعَثْنَا

wabaʿathnā

and We appointed

مِنْهُمُ

min'humu

among them

ٱثْنَىْ

ith'nay

two

عَشَرَ

ʿashara

(and) ten

نَقِيبًۭا ۖ

naqīban

leaders

وَقَالَ

waqāla

And said

ٱللَّهُ

l-lahu

Allah

إِنِّى

innī

Indeed, I (am)

مَعَكُمْ ۖ

maʿakum

with you

لَئِنْ

la-in

if

أَقَمْتُمُ

aqamtumu

you establish

ٱلصَّلَوٰةَ

l-ṣalata

the prayer

وَءَاتَيْتُمُ

waātaytumu

and give

ٱلزَّكَوٰةَ

l-zakata

the zakah

وَءَامَنتُم

waāmantum

and you believe

بِرُسُلِى

birusulī

in My Messengers

وَعَزَّرْتُمُوهُمْ

waʿazzartumūhum

and you assist them

وَأَقْرَضْتُمُ

wa-aqraḍtumu

and you loan

ٱللَّهَ

l-laha

(to) Allah

قَرْضًا

qarḍan

a loan

حَسَنًۭا

ḥasanan

goodly

لَّأُكَفِّرَنَّ

la-ukaffiranna

surely I will remove

عَنكُمْ

ʿankum

from you

سَيِّـَٔاتِكُمْ

sayyiātikum

your evil deeds

وَلَأُدْخِلَنَّكُمْ

wala-ud'khilannakum

and I will surely admit you

جَنَّـٰتٍۢ

jannātin

(to) gardens

تَجْرِى

tajrī

flow

مِن

min

from

تَحْتِهَا

taḥtihā

underneath them

ٱلْأَنْهَـٰرُ ۚ

l-anhāru

the rivers

فَمَن

faman

But whoever

كَفَرَ

kafara

disbelieved

بَعْدَ

baʿda

after

ذَٰلِكَ

dhālika

that

مِنكُمْ

minkum

among you

فَقَدْ

faqad

then certainly

ضَلَّ

ḍalla

he strayed

سَوَآءَ

sawāa

(from) the way

ٱلسَّبِيلِ

l-sabīli

the right

فَبِمَا

fabimā

So for

نَقْضِهِم

naqḍihim

their breaking

مِّيثَـٰقَهُمْ

mīthāqahum

(of) their covenant

لَعَنَّـٰهُمْ

laʿannāhum

We cursed them

وَجَعَلْنَا

wajaʿalnā

and We made

قُلُوبَهُمْ

qulūbahum

their hearts

قَـٰسِيَةًۭ ۖ

qāsiyatan

hard

يُحَرِّفُونَ

yuḥarrifūna

They distort

ٱلْكَلِمَ

l-kalima

the words

عَن

ʿan

from

مَّوَاضِعِهِۦ ۙ

mawāḍiʿihi

their places

وَنَسُوا۟

wanasū

and forgot

حَظًّۭا

ḥaẓẓan

a part

مِّمَّا

mimmā

of what

ذُكِّرُوا۟

dhukkirū

they were reminded

بِهِۦ ۚ

bihi

of [it]

وَلَا

walā

And not

تَزَالُ

tazālu

will you cease

تَطَّلِعُ

taṭṭaliʿu

to discover

عَلَىٰ

ʿalā

of

خَآئِنَةٍۢ

khāinatin

treachery

مِّنْهُمْ

min'hum

from them

إِلَّا

illā

except

قَلِيلًۭا

qalīlan

a few

مِّنْهُمْ ۖ

min'hum

of them

فَٱعْفُ

fa-uʿ'fu

But forgive

عَنْهُمْ

ʿanhum

them

وَٱصْفَحْ ۚ

wa-iṣ'faḥ

and overlook

إِنَّ

inna

Indeed

ٱللَّهَ

l-laha

Allah

يُحِبُّ

yuḥibbu

loves

ٱلْمُحْسِنِينَ

l-muḥ'sinīna

the good-doers

وَمِنَ

wamina

And from

ٱلَّذِينَ

alladhīna

those who

قَالُوٓا۟

qālū

said

إِنَّا

innā

Indeed we

نَصَـٰرَىٰٓ

naṣārā

(are) Christians

أَخَذْنَا

akhadhnā

We took

مِيثَـٰقَهُمْ

mīthāqahum

their covenant

فَنَسُوا۟

fanasū

but they forgot

حَظًّۭا

ḥaẓẓan

a part

مِّمَّا

mimmā

of what

ذُكِّرُوا۟

dhukkirū

they were reminded

بِهِۦ

bihi

of [it]

فَأَغْرَيْنَا

fa-aghraynā

So We aroused

بَيْنَهُمُ

baynahumu

between them

ٱلْعَدَاوَةَ

l-ʿadāwata

[the] enmity

وَٱلْبَغْضَآءَ

wal-baghḍāa

and [the] hatred

إِلَىٰ

ilā

till

يَوْمِ

yawmi

(the) Day

ٱلْقِيَـٰمَةِ ۚ

l-qiyāmati

(of) the Resurrection

وَسَوْفَ

wasawfa

And soon

يُنَبِّئُهُمُ

yunabbi-uhumu

will inform them

ٱللَّهُ

l-lahu

Allah

بِمَا

bimā

of what

كَانُوا۟

kānū

they used to

يَصْنَعُونَ

yaṣnaʿūna

do

يَـٰٓأَهْلَ

yāahla

O People

ٱلْكِتَـٰبِ

l-kitābi

(of) the Book

قَدْ

qad

Surely

جَآءَكُمْ

jāakum

has come to you

رَسُولُنَا

rasūlunā

Our Messenger

يُبَيِّنُ

yubayyinu

making clear

لَكُمْ

lakum

to you

كَثِيرًۭا

kathīran

much

مِّمَّا

mimmā

of what

كُنتُمْ

kuntum

you used to

تُخْفُونَ

tukh'fūna

conceal

مِنَ

mina

of

ٱلْكِتَـٰبِ

l-kitābi

the Scripture

وَيَعْفُوا۟

wayaʿfū

and overlooking

عَن

ʿan

of

كَثِيرٍۢ ۚ

kathīrin

much

قَدْ

qad

Surely

جَآءَكُم

jāakum

has come to you

مِّنَ

mina

from

ٱللَّهِ

l-lahi

Allah

نُورٌۭ

nūrun

a light

وَكِتَـٰبٌۭ

wakitābun

and a Book

مُّبِينٌۭ

mubīnun

clear

يَهْدِى

yahdī

Guides

بِهِ

bihi

with it

ٱللَّهُ

l-lahu

Allah

مَنِ

mani

(those) who

ٱتَّبَعَ

ittabaʿa

seek

رِضْوَٰنَهُۥ

riḍ'wānahu

His pleasure

سُبُلَ

subula

(to the) ways

ٱلسَّلَـٰمِ

l-salāmi

(of) the peace

وَيُخْرِجُهُم

wayukh'rijuhum

and brings them out

مِّنَ

mina

from

ٱلظُّلُمَـٰتِ

l-ẓulumāti

the darknessess

إِلَى

ilā

to

ٱلنُّورِ

l-nūri

the light

بِإِذْنِهِۦ

bi-idh'nihi

by His permission

وَيَهْدِيهِمْ

wayahdīhim

and guides them

إِلَىٰ

ilā

to

صِرَٰطٍۢ

ṣirāṭin

(the) way

مُّسْتَقِيمٍۢ

mus'taqīmin

(the) straight

لَّقَدْ

laqad

Certainly

كَفَرَ

kafara

disbelieved

ٱلَّذِينَ

alladhīna

those who

قَالُوٓا۟

qālū

said

إِنَّ

inna

Indeed

ٱللَّهَ

l-laha

Allah

هُوَ

huwa

He

ٱلْمَسِيحُ

l-masīḥu

(is) the Messiah

ٱبْنُ

ub'nu

son

مَرْيَمَ ۚ

maryama

(of) Maryam

قُلْ

qul

Say

فَمَن

faman

Then who

يَمْلِكُ

yamliku

has power

مِنَ

mina

against

ٱللَّهِ

l-lahi

Allah

شَيْـًٔا

shayan

(in) anything

إِنْ

in

if

أَرَادَ

arāda

He intends

أَن

an

to

يُهْلِكَ

yuh'lika

destroy

ٱلْمَسِيحَ

l-masīḥa

the Messiah

ٱبْنَ

ib'na

son

مَرْيَمَ

maryama

(of) Maryam

وَأُمَّهُۥ

wa-ummahu

and his mother

وَمَن

waman

and whoever

فِى

fī

(is) in

ٱلْأَرْضِ

l-arḍi

the earth

جَمِيعًۭا ۗ

jamīʿan

all

وَلِلَّهِ

walillahi

And for Allah

مُلْكُ

mul'ku

(is the) dominion

ٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِ

l-samāwāti

(of) the heavens

وَٱلْأَرْضِ

wal-arḍi

and the earth

وَمَا

wamā

and what

بَيْنَهُمَا ۚ

baynahumā

(is) between both of them

يَخْلُقُ

yakhluqu

He creates

مَا

mā

what

يَشَآءُ ۚ

yashāu

He wills

وَٱللَّهُ

wal-lahu

and Allah

عَلَىٰ

ʿalā

(is) on

كُلِّ

kulli

every

شَىْءٍۢ

shayin

thing

قَدِيرٌۭ

qadīrun

All-Powerful

وَقَالَتِ

waqālati

And said

ٱلْيَهُودُ

l-yahūdu

the Jews

وَٱلنَّصَـٰرَىٰ

wal-naṣārā

and the Christians

نَحْنُ

naḥnu

We (are)

أَبْنَـٰٓؤُا۟

abnāu

(the) children

ٱللَّهِ

l-lahi

(of) Allah

وَأَحِبَّـٰٓؤُهُۥ ۚ

wa-aḥibbāuhu

and His beloved

قُلْ

qul

Say

فَلِمَ

falima

Then why

يُعَذِّبُكُم

yuʿadhibukum

(does He) punish you

بِذُنُوبِكُم ۖ

bidhunūbikum

for your sins

بَلْ

bal

Nay

أَنتُم

antum

you (are)

بَشَرٌۭ

basharun

human beings

مِّمَّنْ

mimman

from among (those)

خَلَقَ ۚ

khalaqa

He created

يَغْفِرُ

yaghfiru

He forgives

لِمَن

liman

[for] whom

يَشَآءُ

yashāu

He wills

وَيُعَذِّبُ

wayuʿadhibu

and punishes

مَن

man

whom

يَشَآءُ ۚ

yashāu

He wills

وَلِلَّهِ

walillahi

And for Allah

مُلْكُ

mul'ku

(is the) dominion

ٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِ

l-samāwāti

(of) the heavens

وَٱلْأَرْضِ

wal-arḍi

and the earth

وَمَا

wamā

and whatever

بَيْنَهُمَا ۖ

baynahumā

(is) between them

وَإِلَيْهِ

wa-ilayhi

and to Him

ٱلْمَصِيرُ

l-maṣīru

(is) the final return

يَـٰٓأَهْلَ

yāahla

O People

ٱلْكِتَـٰبِ

l-kitābi

(of) the Book

قَدْ

qad

Surely

جَآءَكُمْ

jāakum

has come to you

رَسُولُنَا

rasūlunā

Our Messenger

يُبَيِّنُ

yubayyinu

he makes clear

لَكُمْ

lakum

to you

عَلَىٰ

ʿalā

[on]

فَتْرَةٍۢ

fatratin

(after) an interval (of cessation)

مِّنَ

mina

of

ٱلرُّسُلِ

l-rusuli

the Messengers

أَن

an

lest

تَقُولُوا۟

taqūlū

you say

مَا

mā

Not

جَآءَنَا

jāanā

(has) come to us

مِنۢ

min

any

بَشِيرٍۢ

bashīrin

bearer of glad tidings

وَلَا

walā

and not

نَذِيرٍۢ ۖ

nadhīrin

a warner

فَقَدْ

faqad

But surely

جَآءَكُم

jāakum

has come to you

بَشِيرٌۭ

bashīrun

a bearer of glad tidings

وَنَذِيرٌۭ ۗ

wanadhīrun

and a warner

وَٱللَّهُ

wal-lahu

And Allah

عَلَىٰ

ʿalā

(is) on

كُلِّ

kulli

every

شَىْءٍۢ

shayin

thing

قَدِيرٌۭ

qadīrun

All-Powerful

وَإِذْ

wa-idh

And when

قَالَ

qāla

said

مُوسَىٰ

mūsā

Musa

لِقَوْمِهِۦ

liqawmihi

to his people

يَـٰقَوْمِ

yāqawmi

O my people

ٱذْكُرُوا۟

udh'kurū

remember

نِعْمَةَ

niʿ'mata

(the) Favor

ٱللَّهِ

l-lahi

(of) Allah

عَلَيْكُمْ

ʿalaykum

upon you

إِذْ

idh

when

جَعَلَ

jaʿala

He placed

فِيكُمْ

fīkum

among you

أَنۢبِيَآءَ

anbiyāa

Prophets

وَجَعَلَكُم

wajaʿalakum

and made you

مُّلُوكًۭا

mulūkan

kings

وَءَاتَىٰكُم

waātākum

and He gave you

مَّا

mā

what

لَمْ

lam

not

يُؤْتِ

yu'ti

He (had) given

أَحَدًۭا

aḥadan

(to) anyone

مِّنَ

mina

from

ٱلْعَـٰلَمِينَ

l-ʿālamīna

the worlds

يَـٰقَوْمِ

yāqawmi

O my people

ٱدْخُلُوا۟

ud'khulū

Enter

ٱلْأَرْضَ

l-arḍa

the land

ٱلْمُقَدَّسَةَ

l-muqadasata

the Holy

ٱلَّتِى

allatī

which

كَتَبَ

kataba

(has been) ordained

ٱللَّهُ

l-lahu

(by) Allah

لَكُمْ

lakum

for you

وَلَا

walā

and (do) not

تَرْتَدُّوا۟

tartaddū

turn

عَلَىٰٓ

ʿalā

on

أَدْبَارِكُمْ

adbārikum

your backs

فَتَنقَلِبُوا۟

fatanqalibū

then you will turn back

خَـٰسِرِينَ

khāsirīna

(as) losers

قَالُوا۟

qālū

They said

يَـٰمُوسَىٰٓ

yāmūsā

O Musa

إِنَّ

inna

Indeed

فِيهَا

fīhā

in it

قَوْمًۭا

qawman

(are) people

جَبَّارِينَ

jabbārīna

(of) tyrannical strength

وَإِنَّا

wa-innā

and indeed, we

لَن

lan

never

نَّدْخُلَهَا

nadkhulahā

will enter it

حَتَّىٰ

ḥattā

until

يَخْرُجُوا۟

yakhrujū

they leave

مِنْهَا

min'hā

from it

فَإِن

fa-in

and if

يَخْرُجُوا۟

yakhrujū

they leave

مِنْهَا

min'hā

[from] it

فَإِنَّا

fa-innā

then certainly we (will)

دَٰخِلُونَ

dākhilūna

enter (it)

قَالَ

qāla

Said

رَجُلَانِ

rajulāni

two men

مِنَ

mina

from

ٱلَّذِينَ

alladhīna

those who

يَخَافُونَ

yakhāfūna

feared (Allah)

أَنْعَمَ

anʿama

(had) favored

ٱللَّهُ

l-lahu

Allah

عَلَيْهِمَا

ʿalayhimā

[on] both of them

ٱدْخُلُوا۟

ud'khulū

Enter

عَلَيْهِمُ

ʿalayhimu

upon them

ٱلْبَابَ

l-bāba

(through) the gate

فَإِذَا

fa-idhā

then when

دَخَلْتُمُوهُ

dakhaltumūhu

you have entered it

فَإِنَّكُمْ

fa-innakum

then indeed, you (will be)

غَـٰلِبُونَ ۚ

ghālibūna

victorious

وَعَلَى

waʿalā

And upon

ٱللَّهِ

l-lahi

Allah

فَتَوَكَّلُوٓا۟

fatawakkalū

then put your trust

إِن

in

if

كُنتُم

kuntum

you are

مُّؤْمِنِينَ

mu'minīna

believers

قَالُوا۟

qālū

They said

يَـٰمُوسَىٰٓ

yāmūsā

O Musa

إِنَّا

innā

Indeed, we

لَن

lan

never

نَّدْخُلَهَآ

nadkhulahā

will enter it

أَبَدًۭا

abadan

ever

مَّا

mā

for

دَامُوا۟

dāmū

as long as they are

فِيهَا ۖ

fīhā

in it

فَٱذْهَبْ

fa-idh'hab

So go

أَنتَ

anta

you

وَرَبُّكَ

warabbuka

and your Lord

فَقَـٰتِلَآ

faqātilā

and you both fight

إِنَّا

innā

Indeed, we

هَـٰهُنَا

hāhunā

are [here]

قَـٰعِدُونَ

qāʿidūna

sitting

قَالَ

qāla

He said

رَبِّ

rabbi

O my Lord

إِنِّى

innī

Indeed, I

لَآ

lā

(do) not

أَمْلِكُ

amliku

(have) power

إِلَّا

illā

except

نَفْسِى

nafsī

(over) myself

وَأَخِى ۖ

wa-akhī

and my brother

فَٱفْرُقْ

fa-uf'ruq

so (make a) separation

بَيْنَنَا

baynanā

between us

وَبَيْنَ

wabayna

and between

ٱلْقَوْمِ

l-qawmi

the people

ٱلْفَـٰسِقِينَ

l-fāsiqīna

(the) defiantly disobedient
