قُلِ ٱللَّهُمَّ مَـٰلِكَ ٱلْمُلْكِ تُؤْتِى ٱلْمُلْكَ مَن تَشَآءُ وَتَنزِعُ ٱلْمُلْكَ مِمَّن تَشَآءُ وَتُعِزُّ مَن تَشَآءُ وَتُذِلُّ مَن تَشَآءُۖ بِيَدِكَ ٱلْخَيْرُۖ إِنَّكَ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَىْءٍ قَدِيرٌ ﴿٢٦﴾

قُلِ
quli
Say
ٱللَّهُمَّ
l-lahuma
O Allah
مَـٰلِكَ
mālika
Owner
ٱلْمُلْكِ
l-mul'ki
(of) the Dominion
تُؤْتِى
tu'tī
You give
ٱلْمُلْكَ
l-mul'ka
the dominion
مَن
man
(to) whom
تَشَآءُ
tashāu
You will
وَتَنزِعُ
watanziʿu
and You take away
ٱلْمُلْكَ
l-mul'ka
the dominion
مِمَّن
mimman
from whom
تَشَآءُ
tashāu
You will
وَتُعِزُّ
watuʿizzu
and You honor
مَن
man
whom
تَشَآءُ
tashāu
You will
وَتُذِلُّ
watudhillu
and You humiliate
مَن
man
whom
تَشَآءُ ۖ
tashāu
You will
بِيَدِكَ
biyadika
In Your hand
ٱلْخَيْرُ ۖ
l-khayru
(is all) the good
إِنَّكَ
innaka
Indeed, You
عَلَىٰ
ʿalā
(are) on
كُلِّ
kulli
every
شَىْءٍۢ
shayin
thing
قَدِيرٌۭ
qadīrun
All-Powerful
تُولِجُ ٱلَّيْلَ فِى ٱلنَّهَارِ وَتُولِجُ ٱلنَّهَارَ فِى ٱلَّيْلِۖ وَتُخْرِجُ ٱلْحَىَّ مِنَ ٱلْمَيِّتِ وَتُخْرِجُ ٱلْمَيِّتَ مِنَ ٱلْحَىِّۖ وَتَرْزُقُ مَن تَشَآءُ بِغَيْرِ حِسَابٍ ﴿٢٧﴾
Mot à mot
تُولِجُ
tūliju
You cause to enter
ٱلَّيْلَ
al-layla
the night
فِى
fī
in
ٱلنَّهَارِ
l-nahāri
the day
وَتُولِجُ
watūliju
and You cause to enter
ٱلنَّهَارَ
l-nahāra
the day
فِى
fī
in
ٱلَّيْلِ ۖ
al-layli
the night
وَتُخْرِجُ
watukh'riju
and You bring forth
ٱلْحَىَّ
l-ḥaya
the living
مِنَ
mina
from
ٱلْمَيِّتِ
l-mayiti
the dead
وَتُخْرِجُ
watukh'riju
and You bring forth
ٱلْمَيِّتَ
l-mayita
the dead
مِنَ
mina
from
ٱلْحَىِّ ۖ
l-ḥayi
the living
وَتَرْزُقُ
watarzuqu
and You give provision
مَن
man
(to) whom
تَشَآءُ
tashāu
You will
بِغَيْرِ
bighayri
without
حِسَابٍۢ
ḥisābin
measure
لَّا يَتَّخِذِ ٱلْمُؤْمِنُونَ ٱلْكَـٰفِرِينَ أَوْلِيَآءَ مِن دُونِ ٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَۖ وَمَن يَفْعَلْ ذَٲلِكَ فَلَيْسَ مِنَ ٱللَّهِ فِى شَىْءٍ إِلَّآ أَن تَتَّقُواْ مِنْهُمْ تُقَـٰةًۗ وَيُحَذِّرُكُمُ ٱللَّهُ نَفْسَهُۥۗ وَإِلَى ٱللَّهِ ٱلْمَصِيرُ ﴿٢٨﴾
Mot à mot
لَّا
lā
(Let) not
يَتَّخِذِ
yattakhidhi
take
ٱلْمُؤْمِنُونَ
l-mu'minūna
the believers
ٱلْكَـٰفِرِينَ
l-kāfirīna
the disbelievers
أَوْلِيَآءَ
awliyāa
(as) allies
مِن
min
from
دُونِ
dūni
instead of
ٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ ۖ
l-mu'minīna
the believers
وَمَن
waman
And whoever
يَفْعَلْ
yafʿal
does
ذَٰلِكَ
dhālika
that
فَلَيْسَ
falaysa
then not he (has)
مِنَ
mina
from
ٱللَّهِ
l-lahi
Allah
فِى
fī
in
شَىْءٍ
shayin
anything
إِلَّآ
illā
except
أَن
an
that
تَتَّقُوا۟
tattaqū
you fear
مِنْهُمْ
min'hum
from them
تُقَىٰةًۭ ۗ
tuqātan
(as) a precaution
وَيُحَذِّرُكُمُ
wayuḥadhirukumu
And warns you
ٱللَّهُ
l-lahu
Allah
نَفْسَهُۥ ۗ
nafsahu
(of) Himself
وَإِلَى
wa-ilā
and to
ٱللَّهِ
l-lahi
Allah
ٱلْمَصِيرُ
l-maṣīru
(is) the final return
قُلْ إِن تُخْفُواْ مَا فِى صُدُورِكُمْ أَوْ تُبْدُوهُ يَعْلَمْهُ ٱللَّهُۗ وَيَعْلَمُ مَا فِى ٱلسَّمَـٰوَٲتِ وَمَا فِى ٱلْأَرْضِۗ وَٱللَّهُ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَىْءٍ قَدِيرٌ ﴿٢٩﴾

Say
إِن
in
Whether
تُخْفُوا۟
tukh'fū
you conceal
مَا
mā
what
فِى
fī
(is) in
صُدُورِكُمْ
ṣudūrikum
your breasts
أَوْ
aw
or
تُبْدُوهُ
tub'dūhu
you disclose it
يَعْلَمْهُ
yaʿlamhu
knows it
ٱللَّهُ ۗ
l-lahu
Allah
وَيَعْلَمُ
wayaʿlamu
And He knows
مَا
mā
what
فِى
fī
(is) in
ٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِ
l-samāwāti
the heavens
وَمَا
wamā
and what
فِى
fī
(is) in
ٱلْأَرْضِ ۗ
l-arḍi
the earth
وَٱللَّهُ
wal-lahu
And Allah
عَلَىٰ
ʿalā
(is) on
كُلِّ
kulli
every
شَىْءٍۢ
shayin
thing
قَدِيرٌۭ
qadīrun
All-Powerful
يَوْمَ تَجِدُ كُلُّ نَفْسٍ مَّا عَمِلَتْ مِنْ خَيْرٍ مُّحْضَرًا وَمَا عَمِلَتْ مِن سُوٓءٍ تَوَدُّ لَوْ أَنَّ بَيْنَهَا وَبَيْنَهُۥٓ أَمَدَۢا بَعِيدًاۗ وَيُحَذِّرُكُمُ ٱللَّهُ نَفْسَهُۥۗ وَٱللَّهُ رَءُوفُۢ بِٱلْعِبَادِ ﴿٣٠﴾
Mot à mot
يَوْمَ
yawma
(On the) day
تَجِدُ
tajidu
will find
كُلُّ
kullu
every
نَفْسٍۢ
nafsin
soul
مَّا
mā
what
عَمِلَتْ
ʿamilat
it did
مِنْ
min
of
خَيْرٍۢ
khayrin
good
مُّحْضَرًۭا
muḥ'ḍaran
presented
وَمَا
wamā
and what
عَمِلَتْ
ʿamilat
it did
مِن
min
of
سُوٓءٍۢ
sūin
evil
تَوَدُّ
tawaddu
it will wish
لَوْ
law
[if]
أَنَّ
anna
that
بَيْنَهَا
baynahā
between itself
وَبَيْنَهُۥٓ
wabaynahu
and between it (evil)
أَمَدًۢا
amadan
(was) a distance
بَعِيدًۭا ۗ
baʿīdan
great
وَيُحَذِّرُكُمُ
wayuḥadhirukumu
And warns you
ٱللَّهُ
l-lahu
Allah
نَفْسَهُۥ ۗ
nafsahu
(against) Himself
وَٱللَّهُ
wal-lahu
and Allah
رَءُوفٌۢ
raūfun
(is) Most Kind
بِٱلْعِبَادِ
bil-ʿibādi
to (His) [the] slaves
قُلْ إِن كُنتُمْ تُحِبُّونَ ٱللَّهَ فَٱتَّبِعُونِى يُحْبِبْكُمُ ٱللَّهُ وَيَغْفِرْ لَكُمْ ذُنُوبَكُمْۗ وَٱللَّهُ غَفُورٌ رَّحِيمٌ ﴿٣١﴾
Mot à mot
قُلْ
qul
Say
إِن
in
If
كُنتُمْ
kuntum
you
تُحِبُّونَ
tuḥibbūna
love
ٱللَّهَ
l-laha
Allah
فَٱتَّبِعُونِى
fa-ittabiʿūnī
then follow me
يُحْبِبْكُمُ
yuḥ'bib'kumu
will love you
ٱللَّهُ
l-lahu
Allah
وَيَغْفِرْ
wayaghfir
and He will forgive
لَكُمْ
lakum
for you
ذُنُوبَكُمْ ۗ
dhunūbakum
your sins
وَٱللَّهُ
wal-lahu
And Allah
غَفُورٌۭ
ghafūrun
(is) Oft-Forgiving
رَّحِيمٌۭ
raḥīmun
Most Merciful
قُلْ أَطِيعُواْ ٱللَّهَ وَٱلرَّسُولَۖ فَإِن تَوَلَّوْاْ فَإِنَّ ٱللَّهَ لَا يُحِبُّ ٱلْكَـٰفِرِينَ ﴿٣٢﴾
Mot à mot
قُلْ

Say
أَطِيعُوا۟
aṭīʿū
Obey
ٱللَّهَ
l-laha
Allah
وَٱلرَّسُولَ ۖ
wal-rasūla
and the Messenger
فَإِن
fa-in
Then if
تَوَلَّوْا۟
tawallaw
they turn away
فَإِنَّ
fa-inna
then indeed
ٱللَّهَ
l-laha
Allah
لَا
lā
(does) not
يُحِبُّ
yuḥibbu
love
ٱلْكَـٰفِرِينَ
l-kāfirīna
the disbelievers
۞ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ ٱصْطَفَىٰٓ ءَادَمَ وَنُوحًا وَءَالَ إِبْرَٲهِيمَ وَءَالَ عِمْرَٲنَ عَلَى ٱلْعَـٰلَمِينَ ﴿٣٣﴾

۞ إِنَّ
inna
Indeed
ٱللَّهَ
l-laha
Allah
ٱصْطَفَىٰٓ
iṣ'ṭafā
chose
ءَادَمَ
ādama
Adam
وَنُوحًۭا
wanūḥan
and Nuh
وَءَالَ
waāla
and (the) family
إِبْرَٰهِيمَ
ib'rāhīma
(of) Ibrahim
وَءَالَ
waāla
and (the) family
عِمْرَٰنَ
ʿim'rāna
(of) Imran
عَلَى
ʿalā
over
ٱلْعَـٰلَمِينَ
l-ʿālamīna
the worlds
ذُرِّيَّةَۢ بَعْضُهَا مِنۢ بَعْضٍۗ وَٱللَّهُ سَمِيعٌ عَلِيمٌ ﴿٣٤﴾
Mot à mot
ذُرِّيَّةًۢ
dhurriyyatan
Descendents
بَعْضُهَا
baʿḍuhā
some of them
مِنۢ
min
from
بَعْضٍۢ ۗ
baʿḍin
others
وَٱللَّهُ
wal-lahu
And Allah
سَمِيعٌ
samīʿun
(is) All-Hearing
عَلِيمٌ
ʿalīmun
All-Knowing
إِذْ قَالَتِ ٱمْرَأَتُ عِمْرَٲنَ رَبِّ إِنِّى نَذَرْتُ لَكَ مَا فِى بَطْنِى مُحَرَّرًا فَتَقَبَّلْ مِنِّىٓۖ إِنَّكَ أَنتَ ٱلسَّمِيعُ ٱلْعَلِيمُ ﴿٣٥﴾
Mot à mot
إِذْ

When
قَالَتِ
qālati
[she] said
ٱمْرَأَتُ
im'ra-atu
(the) wife
عِمْرَٰنَ
ʿim'rāna
(of) Imran
رَبِّ
rabbi
My Lord
إِنِّى
innī
Indeed, I
نَذَرْتُ
nadhartu
[I] vowed
لَكَ
laka
to You
مَا
mā
what
فِى
fī
(is) in
بَطْنِى
baṭnī
my womb
مُحَرَّرًۭا
muḥarraran
dedicated
فَتَقَبَّلْ
fataqabbal
so accept
مِنِّىٓ ۖ
minnī
from me
إِنَّكَ
innaka
Indeed, You
أَنتَ
anta
You
ٱلسَّمِيعُ
l-samīʿu
(are) the All-Hearing
ٱلْعَلِيمُ
l-ʿalīmu
the All-Knowing
فَلَمَّا وَضَعَتْهَا قَالَتْ رَبِّ إِنِّى وَضَعْتُهَآ أُنثَىٰ وَٱللَّهُ أَعْلَمُ بِمَا وَضَعَتْ وَلَيْسَ ٱلذَّكَرُ كَٱلْأُنثَىٰۖ وَإِنِّى سَمَّيْتُهَا مَرْيَمَ وَإِنِّىٓ أُعِيذُهَا بِكَ وَذُرِّيَّتَهَا مِنَ ٱلشَّيْطَـٰنِ ٱلرَّجِيمِ ﴿٣٦﴾
Mot à mot
فَلَمَّا
falammā
Then when
وَضَعَتْهَا
waḍaʿathā
she delivered her
قَالَتْ
qālat
she said
رَبِّ
rabbi
My Lord
إِنِّى
innī
indeed I
وَضَعْتُهَآ
waḍaʿtuhā
[I] (have) delivered [her]
أُنثَىٰ
unthā
a female
وَٱللَّهُ
wal-lahu
And Allah
أَعْلَمُ
aʿlamu
knows better
بِمَا
bimā
[of] what
وَضَعَتْ
waḍaʿat
she delivered
وَلَيْسَ
walaysa
and is not
ٱلذَّكَرُ
l-dhakaru
the male
كَٱلْأُنثَىٰ ۖ
kal-unthā
like the female
وَإِنِّى
wa-innī
And that I
سَمَّيْتُهَا
sammaytuhā
[I] (have) named her
مَرْيَمَ
maryama
Maryam
وَإِنِّىٓ
wa-innī
and that I
أُعِيذُهَا
uʿīdhuhā
[I] seek refuge for her
بِكَ
bika
in You
وَذُرِّيَّتَهَا
wadhurriyyatahā
and her offspring
مِنَ
mina
from
ٱلشَّيْطَـٰنِ
l-shayṭāni
the Shaitaan
ٱلرَّجِيمِ
l-rajīmi
the rejected
فَتَقَبَّلَهَا رَبُّهَا بِقَبُولٍ حَسَنٍ وَأَنۢبَتَهَا نَبَاتًا حَسَنًا وَكَفَّلَهَا زَكَرِيَّاۖ كُلَّمَا دَخَلَ عَلَيْهَا زَكَرِيَّا ٱلْمِحْرَابَ وَجَدَ عِندَهَا رِزْقًاۖ قَالَ يَـٰمَرْيَمُ أَنَّىٰ لَكِ هَـٰذَاۖ قَالَتْ هُوَ مِنْ عِندِ ٱللَّهِۖ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ يَرْزُقُ مَن يَشَآءُ بِغَيْرِ حِسَابٍ ﴿٣٧﴾

فَتَقَبَّلَهَا
fataqabbalahā
So accepted her
رَبُّهَا
rabbuhā
her Lord
بِقَبُولٍ
biqabūlin
with acceptance
حَسَنٍۢ
ḥasanin
good
وَأَنۢبَتَهَا
wa-anbatahā
and reared her
نَبَاتًا
nabātan
a rearing
حَسَنًۭا
ḥasanan
good
وَكَفَّلَهَا
wakaffalahā
and put her in (the) care
زَكَرِيَّا ۖ
zakariyyā
(of) Zakariya
كُلَّمَا
kullamā
Whenever
دَخَلَ
dakhala
entered
عَلَيْهَا
ʿalayhā
upon her
زَكَرِيَّا
zakariyyā
Zakariya
ٱلْمِحْرَابَ
l-miḥ'rāba
[the] prayer chamber
وَجَدَ
wajada
he found
عِندَهَا
ʿindahā
with her
رِزْقًۭا ۖ
riz'qan
provision
قَالَ
qāla
He said
يَـٰمَرْيَمُ
yāmaryamu
O Maryam
أَنَّىٰ
annā
From where
لَكِ
laki
for you
هَـٰذَا ۖ
hādhā
(is) this
قَالَتْ
qālat
She said
هُوَ
huwa
This
مِنْ
min
(is)
عِندِ
ʿindi
from
ٱللَّهِ ۖ
l-lahi
Allah
إِنَّ
inna
Indeed
ٱللَّهَ
l-laha
Allah
يَرْزُقُ
yarzuqu
gives provision
مَن
man
(to) whom
يَشَآءُ
yashāu
He wills
بِغَيْرِ
bighayri
without
حِسَابٍ
ḥisābin
measure
هُنَالِكَ دَعَا زَكَرِيَّا رَبَّهُۥۖ قَالَ رَبِّ هَبْ لِى مِن لَّدُنكَ ذُرِّيَّةً طَيِّبَةًۖ إِنَّكَ سَمِيعُ ٱلدُّعَآءِ ﴿٣٨﴾

There only
دَعَا
daʿā
invoked
زَكَرِيَّا
zakariyyā
Zakariya
رَبَّهُۥ ۖ
rabbahu
his Lord
قَالَ
qāla
he said
رَبِّ
rabbi
My Lord
هَبْ
hab
grant
لِى
lī
[for] me
مِن
min
from
لَّدُنكَ
ladunka
Yourself
ذُرِّيَّةًۭ
dhurriyyatan
offspring
طَيِّبَةً ۖ
ṭayyibatan
pure
إِنَّكَ
innaka
Indeed, You
سَمِيعُ
samīʿu
(are) All-Hearer
ٱلدُّعَآءِ
l-duʿāi
(of) the prayer
فَنَادَتْهُ ٱلْمَلَـٰٓئِكَةُ وَهُوَ قَآئِمٌ يُصَلِّى فِى ٱلْمِحْرَابِ أَنَّ ٱللَّهَ يُبَشِّرُكَ بِيَحْيَىٰ مُصَدِّقَۢا بِكَلِمَةٍ مِّنَ ٱللَّهِ وَسَيِّدًا وَحَصُورًا وَنَبِيًّا مِّنَ ٱلصَّـٰلِحِينَ ﴿٣٩﴾

فَنَادَتْهُ
fanādathu
Then called him
ٱلْمَلَـٰٓئِكَةُ
l-malāikatu
the Angels
وَهُوَ
wahuwa
when he
قَآئِمٌۭ
qāimun
(was) standing
يُصَلِّى
yuṣallī
praying
فِى
fī
in
ٱلْمِحْرَابِ
l-miḥ'rābi
the prayer chamber
أَنَّ
anna
Indeed
ٱللَّهَ
l-laha
Allah
يُبَشِّرُكَ
yubashiruka
gives you glad tidings
بِيَحْيَىٰ
biyaḥyā
of Yahya
مُصَدِّقًۢا
muṣaddiqan
confirming
بِكَلِمَةٍۢ
bikalimatin
[of] a Word
مِّنَ
mina
from
ٱللَّهِ
l-lahi
Allah
وَسَيِّدًۭا
wasayyidan
and a noble
وَحَصُورًۭا
waḥaṣūran
and chaste
وَنَبِيًّۭا
wanabiyyan
and a Prophet
مِّنَ
mina
among
ٱلصَّـٰلِحِينَ
l-ṣāliḥīna
the righteous
قَالَ رَبِّ أَنَّىٰ يَكُونُ لِى غُلَـٰمٌ وَقَدْ بَلَغَنِىَ ٱلْكِبَرُ وَٱمْرَأَتِى عَاقِرٌۖ قَالَ كَذَٲلِكَ ٱللَّهُ يَفْعَلُ مَا يَشَآءُ ﴿٤٠﴾

قَالَ
qāla
He said
رَبِّ
rabbi
My Lord
أَنَّىٰ
annā
how
يَكُونُ
yakūnu
can (there) be
لِى
lī
for me
غُلَـٰمٌۭ
ghulāmun
a son
وَقَدْ
waqad
and verily
بَلَغَنِىَ
balaghaniya
has reached me
ٱلْكِبَرُ
l-kibaru
[the] old age
وَٱمْرَأَتِى
wa-im'ra-atī
and my wife
عَاقِرٌۭ ۖ
ʿāqirun
(is) [a] barren
قَالَ
qāla
He said
كَذَٰلِكَ
kadhālika
Thus
ٱللَّهُ
l-lahu
Allah
يَفْعَلُ
yafʿalu
does
مَا
mā
what
يَشَآءُ
yashāu
He wills
قَالَ رَبِّ ٱجْعَل لِّىٓ ءَايَةًۖ قَالَ ءَايَتُكَ أَلَّا تُكَلِّمَ ٱلنَّاسَ ثَلَـٰثَةَ أَيَّامٍ إِلَّا رَمْزًاۗ وَٱذْكُر رَّبَّكَ كَثِيرًا وَسَبِّحْ بِٱلْعَشِىِّ وَٱلْإِبْكَـٰرِ ﴿٤١﴾

He said
رَبِّ
rabbi
My Lord
ٱجْعَل
ij'ʿal
make
لِّىٓ
lī
for me
ءَايَةًۭ ۖ
āyatan
a sign
قَالَ
qāla
He said
ءَايَتُكَ
āyatuka
your sign
أَلَّا
allā
(is) that not
تُكَلِّمَ
tukallima
you will speak
ٱلنَّاسَ
l-nāsa
(to) the people
ثَلَـٰثَةَ
thalāthata
(for) three
أَيَّامٍ
ayyāmin
days
إِلَّا
illā
except
رَمْزًۭا ۗ
ramzan
(with) gestures
وَٱذْكُر
wa-udh'kur
And remember
رَّبَّكَ
rabbaka
your Lord
كَثِيرًۭا
kathīran
much
وَسَبِّحْ
wasabbiḥ
and glorify (Him)
بِٱلْعَشِىِّ
bil-ʿashiyi
in the evening
وَٱلْإِبْكَـٰرِ
wal-ib'kāri
and (in) the morning
وَإِذْ قَالَتِ ٱلْمَلَـٰٓئِكَةُ يَـٰمَرْيَمُ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ ٱصْطَفَـٰكِ وَطَهَّرَكِ وَٱصْطَفَـٰكِ عَلَىٰ نِسَآءِ ٱلْعَـٰلَمِينَ ﴿٤٢﴾

وَإِذْ
wa-idh
And when
قَالَتِ
qālati
said
ٱلْمَلَـٰٓئِكَةُ
l-malāikatu
the Angels
يَـٰمَرْيَمُ
yāmaryamu
O Maryam
إِنَّ
inna
Indeed
ٱللَّهَ
l-laha
Allah
ٱصْطَفَىٰكِ
iṣ'ṭafāki
(has) chosen you
وَطَهَّرَكِ
waṭahharaki
and purified you
وَٱصْطَفَىٰكِ
wa-iṣ'ṭafāki
and chosen you
عَلَىٰ
ʿalā
over
نِسَآءِ
nisāi
(the) women
ٱلْعَـٰلَمِينَ
l-ʿālamīna
(of) the worlds
يَـٰمَرْيَمُ ٱقْنُتِى لِرَبِّكِ وَٱسْجُدِى وَٱرْكَعِى مَعَ ٱلرَّٲكِعِينَ ﴿٤٣﴾
Mot à mot
يَـٰمَرْيَمُ
yāmaryamu
O Maryam
ٱقْنُتِى
uq'nutī
Be obedient
لِرَبِّكِ
lirabbiki
to your Lord
وَٱسْجُدِى
wa-us'judī
and prostrate
وَٱرْكَعِى

and bow down
مَعَ
maʿa

ٱلرَّٰكِعِينَ
l-rākiʿīna
those who bow down
ذَٲلِكَ مِنْ أَنۢبَآءِ ٱلْغَيْبِ نُوحِيهِ إِلَيْكَۚ وَمَا كُنتَ لَدَيْهِمْ إِذْ يُلْقُونَ أَقْلَـٰمَهُمْ أَيُّهُمْ يَكْفُلُ مَرْيَمَ وَمَا كُنتَ لَدَيْهِمْ إِذْ يَخْتَصِمُونَ ﴿٤٤﴾
Mot à mot
ذَٰلِكَ
dhālika
That
مِنْ
min
(is) from
أَنۢبَآءِ
anbāi
(the) news
ٱلْغَيْبِ
l-ghaybi
(of) the unseen
نُوحِيهِ
nūḥīhi
We reveal it
إِلَيْكَ ۚ
ilayka
to you
وَمَا
wamā
And not
كُنتَ
kunta
you were
لَدَيْهِمْ
ladayhim
with them
إِذْ
idh
when
يُلْقُونَ
yul'qūna
they cast
أَقْلَـٰمَهُمْ
aqlāmahum
their pens
أَيُّهُمْ
ayyuhum
(as to) which of them
يَكْفُلُ
yakfulu
takes charge (of)
مَرْيَمَ
maryama
Maryam
وَمَا
wamā
and not
كُنتَ
kunta
you were
لَدَيْهِمْ
ladayhim
with them
إِذْ
idh
when
يَخْتَصِمُونَ
yakhtaṣimūna
they (were) disputing
إِذْ قَالَتِ ٱلْمَلَـٰٓئِكَةُ يَـٰمَرْيَمُ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ يُبَشِّرُكِ بِكَلِمَةٍ مِّنْهُ ٱسْمُهُ ٱلْمَسِيحُ عِيسَى ٱبْنُ مَرْيَمَ وَجِيهًا فِى ٱلدُّنْيَا وَٱلْأَخِرَةِ وَمِنَ ٱلْمُقَرَّبِينَ ﴿٤٥﴾
Mot à mot
إِذْ
idh
When
قَالَتِ
qālati
said
ٱلْمَلَـٰٓئِكَةُ
l-malāikatu
the Angels
يَـٰمَرْيَمُ
yāmaryamu
O Maryam
إِنَّ
inna
Indeed
ٱللَّهَ
l-laha
Allah
يُبَشِّرُكِ
yubashiruki
gives you glad tidings
بِكَلِمَةٍۢ
bikalimatin
of a word
مِّنْهُ
min'hu
from Him
ٱسْمُهُ
us'muhu
his name
ٱلْمَسِيحُ
l-masīḥu
(is) the Messiah
عِيسَى
ʿīsā
Isa
ٱبْنُ
ub'nu
son
مَرْيَمَ
maryama
(of) Maryam
وَجِيهًۭا
wajīhan
honored
فِى
fī
in
ٱلدُّنْيَا
l-dun'yā
the world
وَٱلْـَٔاخِرَةِ
wal-ākhirati
and (in) the Hereafter
وَمِنَ
wamina
and of
ٱلْمُقَرَّبِينَ
l-muqarabīna
those brought near (to Allah)
وَيُكَلِّمُ ٱلنَّاسَ فِى ٱلْمَهْدِ وَكَهْلاً وَمِنَ ٱلصَّـٰلِحِينَ ﴿٤٦﴾
Mot à mot
وَيُكَلِّمُ
wayukallimu
And he will speak
ٱلنَّاسَ
l-nāsa
(to) the people
فِى
fī
in
ٱلْمَهْدِ
l-mahdi
the cradle
وَكَهْلًۭا
wakahlan
and (in) maturity
وَمِنَ
wamina
and (he will be) of
ٱلصَّـٰلِحِينَ
l-ṣāliḥīna
the righteous
قَالَتْ رَبِّ أَنَّىٰ يَكُونُ لِى وَلَدٌ وَلَمْ يَمْسَسْنِى بَشَرٌۖ قَالَ كَذَٲلِكِ ٱللَّهُ يَخْلُقُ مَا يَشَآءُۚ إِذَا قَضَىٰٓ أَمْرًا فَإِنَّمَا يَقُولُ لَهُۥ كُن فَيَكُونُ ﴿٤٧﴾

قَالَتْ
qālat
She said
رَبِّ
rabbi
My Lord
أَنَّىٰ
annā
how
يَكُونُ
yakūnu
is [it]
لِى
lī
for me
وَلَدٌۭ
waladun
a boy
وَلَمْ
walam
and (has) not
يَمْسَسْنِى
yamsasnī
touch(ed) me
بَشَرٌۭ ۖ
basharun
any man
قَالَ
qāla
He said
كَذَٰلِكِ
kadhāliki
Thus
ٱللَّهُ
l-lahu
Allah
يَخْلُقُ
yakhluqu
creates
مَا
mā
what
يَشَآءُ ۚ
yashāu
He wills
إِذَا
idhā
When
قَضَىٰٓ
qaḍā
He decrees
أَمْرًۭا
amran
a matter
فَإِنَّمَا
fa-innamā
then only
يَقُولُ
yaqūlu
He says
لَهُۥ
lahu
to it
كُن
kun
Be
فَيَكُونُ
fayakūnu
and it becomes
وَيُعَلِّمُهُ ٱلْكِتَـٰبَ وَٱلْحِكْمَةَ وَٱلتَّوْرَٮٰةَ وَٱلْإِنجِيلَ ﴿٤٨﴾
Mot à mot
وَيُعَلِّمُهُ
wayuʿallimuhu
And He will teach him
ٱلْكِتَـٰبَ
l-kitāba
the Book
وَٱلْحِكْمَةَ
wal-ḥik'mata
and [the] wisdom
وَٱلتَّوْرَىٰةَ
wal-tawrāta
and the Taurat
وَٱلْإِنجِيلَ
wal-injīla
and the Injeel
وَرَسُولاً إِلَىٰ بَنِىٓ إِسْرَٲٓءِيلَ أَنِّى قَدْ جِئْتُكُم بِـَٔـايَةٍ مِّن رَّبِّكُمْۖ أَنِّىٓ أَخْلُقُ لَكُم مِّنَ ٱلطِّينِ كَهَيْــَٔةِ ٱلطَّيْرِ فَأَنفُخُ فِيهِ فَيَكُونُ طَيْرَۢا بِإِذْنِ ٱللَّهِۖ وَأُبْرِئُ ٱلْأَكْمَهَ وَٱلْأَبْرَصَ وَأُحْىِ ٱلْمَوْتَىٰ بِإِذْنِ ٱللَّهِۖ وَأُنَبِّئُكُم بِمَا تَأْكُلُونَ وَمَا تَدَّخِرُونَ فِى بُيُوتِكُمْۚ إِنَّ فِى ذَٲلِكَ لَأَيَةً لَّكُمْ إِن كُنتُم مُّؤْمِنِينَ ﴿٤٩﴾
Mot à mot
وَرَسُولًا
warasūlan
And (make him) a Messenger
إِلَىٰ
ilā
to
بَنِىٓ
banī
(the) Children
إِسْرَٰٓءِيلَ
is'rāīla
(of) Israel
أَنِّى
annī
Indeed, I
قَدْ
qad
[surely]
جِئْتُكُم
ji'tukum
[I] (have) come (to) you
بِـَٔايَةٍۢ
biāyatin
with a sign
مِّن
min
from
رَّبِّكُمْ ۖ
rabbikum
your Lord
أَنِّىٓ
annī
that I
أَخْلُقُ
akhluqu
[I] design
لَكُم
lakum
for you
مِّنَ
mina
from
ٱلطِّينِ
l-ṭīni
[the] clay
كَهَيْـَٔةِ
kahayati
like the form
ٱلطَّيْرِ
l-ṭayri
(of) the bird
فَأَنفُخُ
fa-anfukhu
then I breath
فِيهِ
fīhi
into it
فَيَكُونُ
fayakūnu
and it becomes
طَيْرًۢا
ṭayran
a bird
بِإِذْنِ
bi-idh'ni
by (the) permission
ٱللَّهِ ۖ
l-lahi
(of) Allah
وَأُبْرِئُ
wa-ub'ri-u
And I cure
ٱلْأَكْمَهَ
l-akmaha
the blind
وَٱلْأَبْرَصَ
wal-abraṣa
and the leper
وَأُحْىِ
wa-uḥ'yī
and I give life
ٱلْمَوْتَىٰ
l-mawtā
(to) the dead
بِإِذْنِ
bi-idh'ni
by (the) permission
ٱللَّهِ ۖ
l-lahi
(of) Allah
وَأُنَبِّئُكُم
wa-unabbi-ukum
And I inform you
بِمَا
bimā
of what
تَأْكُلُونَ
takulūna
you eat
وَمَا
wamā
and what
تَدَّخِرُونَ
taddakhirūna
you store
فِى
fī
in
بُيُوتِكُمْ ۚ
buyūtikum
your houses
إِنَّ
inna
Indeed
فِى
fī
in
ذَٰلِكَ
dhālika
that
لَـَٔايَةًۭ
laāyatan
(is) surely a sign
لَّكُمْ
lakum
for you
إِن
in
if
كُنتُم
kuntum
you are
مُّؤْمِنِينَ
mu'minīna
believers
وَمُصَدِّقًا لِّمَا بَيْنَ يَدَىَّ مِنَ ٱلتَّوْرَٮٰةِ وَلِأُحِلَّ لَكُم بَعْضَ ٱلَّذِى حُرِّمَ عَلَيْكُمْۚ وَجِئْتُكُم بِـَٔـايَةٍ مِّن رَّبِّكُمْ فَٱتَّقُواْ ٱللَّهَ وَأَطِيعُونِ ﴿٥٠﴾
Mot à mot
وَمُصَدِّقًۭا
wamuṣaddiqan
And confirming
لِّمَا
limā
that which
بَيْنَ
bayna
(was)
يَدَىَّ
yadayya
before me
مِنَ
mina
of
ٱلتَّوْرَىٰةِ
l-tawrāti
the Taurat
وَلِأُحِلَّ
wali-uḥilla
and so that I make lawful
لَكُم
lakum
for you
بَعْضَ
baʿḍa
some
ٱلَّذِى
alladhī
(of) that which
حُرِّمَ
ḥurrima
was forbidden
عَلَيْكُمْ ۚ
ʿalaykum
to you
وَجِئْتُكُم
waji'tukum
And I (have) come to you
بِـَٔايَةٍۢ
biāyatin
with a sign
مِّن
min
from
رَّبِّكُمْ
rabbikum
your Lord
فَٱتَّقُوا۟
fa-ittaqū
So fear
ٱللَّهَ
l-laha
Allah
وَأَطِيعُونِ
wa-aṭīʿūni
and obey me
