بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَـٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ
لَمْ يَكُنِ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ مِنْ أَهْلِ ٱلْكِتَـٰبِ وَٱلْمُشْرِكِينَ مُنفَكِّينَ حَتَّىٰ تَأْتِيَهُمُ ٱلْبَيِّنَةُ ﴿١﴾
Mot à mot
لَمْ
lam
Not
يَكُنِ
yakuni
were
ٱلَّذِينَ
alladhīna
those who
كَفَرُوا۟
kafarū
disbelieved
مِنْ
min
from
أَهْلِ
ahli
(the) People
ٱلْكِتَـٰبِ
l-kitābi
of the Book
وَٱلْمُشْرِكِينَ
wal-mush'rikīna
and the polytheists
مُنفَكِّينَ
munfakkīna
to be abandoned
حَتَّىٰ
ḥattā
until
تَأْتِيَهُمُ
tatiyahumu
(there) comes to them
ٱلْبَيِّنَةُ
l-bayinatu
the clear evidence
رَسُولٌ مِّنَ ٱللَّهِ يَتْلُواْ صُحُفًا مُّطَهَّرَةً ﴿٢﴾

رَسُولٌۭ
rasūlun
A Messenger
مِّنَ
mina
from
ٱللَّهِ
l-lahi
Allah
يَتْلُوا۟
yatlū
reciting
صُحُفًۭا
ṣuḥufan
pages
مُّطَهَّرَةًۭ
muṭahharatan
purified
فِيهَا كُتُبٌ قَيِّمَةٌ ﴿٣﴾

فِيهَا
fīhā
Wherein
كُتُبٌۭ
kutubun
(are) writings
قَيِّمَةٌۭ
qayyimatun
correct
وَمَا تَفَرَّقَ ٱلَّذِينَ أُوتُواْ ٱلْكِتَـٰبَ إِلَّا مِنۢ بَعْدِ مَا جَآءَتْهُمُ ٱلْبَيِّنَةُ ﴿٤﴾

وَمَا
wamā
And not
تَفَرَّقَ
tafarraqa
became divided
ٱلَّذِينَ
alladhīna
those who
أُوتُوا۟
ūtū
were given
ٱلْكِتَـٰبَ
l-kitāba
the Book
إِلَّا
illā
until
مِنۢ
min
from
بَعْدِ
baʿdi
after
مَا
mā
what
جَآءَتْهُمُ
jāathumu
came (to) them
ٱلْبَيِّنَةُ
l-bayinatu
(of) the clear evidence
وَمَآ أُمِرُوٓاْ إِلَّا لِيَعْبُدُواْ ٱللَّهَ مُخْلِصِينَ لَهُ ٱلدِّينَ حُنَفَآءَ وَيُقِيمُواْ ٱلصَّلَوٲةَ وَيُؤْتُواْ ٱلزَّكَوٲةَۚ وَذَٲلِكَ دِينُ ٱلْقَيِّمَةِ ﴿٥﴾
Mot à mot
وَمَآ
wamā
And not
أُمِرُوٓا۟
umirū
they were commanded
إِلَّا
illā
except
لِيَعْبُدُوا۟
liyaʿbudū
to worship
ٱللَّهَ
l-laha
Allah
مُخْلِصِينَ
mukh'liṣīna
(being) sincere
لَهُ
lahu
to Him
ٱلدِّينَ
l-dīna
(in) the religion
حُنَفَآءَ
ḥunafāa
upright
وَيُقِيمُوا۟
wayuqīmū
and to establish
ٱلصَّلَوٰةَ
l-ṣalata
the prayer
وَيُؤْتُوا۟
wayu'tū
and to give
ٱلزَّكَوٰةَ ۚ
l-zakata
the zakah
وَذَٰلِكَ
wadhālika
And that
دِينُ
dīnu
(is the) religion
ٱلْقَيِّمَةِ
l-qayimati
the correct
إِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ مِنْ أَهْلِ ٱلْكِتَـٰبِ وَٱلْمُشْرِكِينَ فِى نَارِ جَهَنَّمَ خَـٰلِدِينَ فِيهَآۚ أُوْلَـٰٓئِكَ هُمْ شَرُّ ٱلْبَرِيَّةِ ﴿٦﴾

إِنَّ
inna
Indeed
ٱلَّذِينَ
alladhīna
those who
كَفَرُوا۟
kafarū
disbelieve
مِنْ
min
from
أَهْلِ
ahli
(the) People
ٱلْكِتَـٰبِ
l-kitābi
(of) the Book
وَٱلْمُشْرِكِينَ
wal-mush'rikīna
and the polytheists
فِى
fī
(will be) in
نَارِ
nāri
(the) Fire
جَهَنَّمَ
jahannama
(of) Hell
خَـٰلِدِينَ
khālidīna
abiding eternally
فِيهَآ ۚ
fīhā
therein
أُو۟لَـٰٓئِكَ
ulāika
Those
هُمْ
hum
they
شَرُّ
sharru
(are the) worst
ٱلْبَرِيَّةِ
l-bariyati
(of) the creatures
إِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ وَعَمِلُواْ ٱلصَّـٰلِحَـٰتِ أُوْلَـٰٓئِكَ هُمْ خَيْرُ ٱلْبَرِيَّةِ ﴿٧﴾
Mot à mot
إِنَّ
inna
Indeed
ٱلَّذِينَ
alladhīna
those who
ءَامَنُوا۟
āmanū
believe
وَعَمِلُوا۟
waʿamilū
and do
ٱلصَّـٰلِحَـٰتِ
l-ṣāliḥāti
righteous deeds
أُو۟لَـٰٓئِكَ
ulāika
those
هُمْ
hum
they
خَيْرُ
khayru
(are the) best
ٱلْبَرِيَّةِ
l-bariyati
(of) the creatures
جَزَآؤُهُمْ عِندَ رَبِّهِمْ جَنَّـٰتُ عَدْنٍ تَجْرِى مِن تَحْتِهَا ٱلْأَنْهَـٰرُ خَـٰلِدِينَ فِيهَآ أَبَدًاۖ رَّضِىَ ٱللَّهُ عَنْهُمْ وَرَضُواْ عَنْهُۚ ذَٲلِكَ لِمَنْ خَشِىَ رَبَّهُۥ ﴿٨﴾

جَزَآؤُهُمْ
jazāuhum
Their reward
عِندَ
ʿinda
(is) with
رَبِّهِمْ
rabbihim
their Lord
جَنَّـٰتُ
jannātu
Gardens
عَدْنٍۢ
ʿadnin
(of) Eternity
تَجْرِى
tajrī
flow
مِن
min
from
تَحْتِهَا
taḥtihā
underneath them
ٱلْأَنْهَـٰرُ
l-anhāru
the rivers
خَـٰلِدِينَ
khālidīna
will abide
فِيهَآ
fīhā
therein
أَبَدًۭا ۖ
abadan
forever
رَّضِىَ
raḍiya
(will be) pleased
ٱللَّهُ
l-lahu
Allah
عَنْهُمْ
ʿanhum
with them
وَرَضُوا۟
waraḍū
and they (will be) pleased
عَنْهُ ۚ
ʿanhu
with Him
ذَٰلِكَ
dhālika
That
لِمَنْ
liman
(is) for whoever
خَشِىَ
khashiya
feared
رَبَّهُۥ
rabbahu
his Lord
