Al-Araf

إِنَّ

inna

Indeed

ٱلَّذِينَ

alladhīna

those who

ٱتَّقَوْا۟

ittaqaw

fear (Allah)

إِذَا

idhā

when

مَسَّهُمْ

massahum

touches them

طَـٰٓئِفٌۭ

ṭāifun

an evil thought

مِّنَ

mina

from

ٱلشَّيْطَـٰنِ

l-shayṭāni

the Shaitaan

تَذَكَّرُوا۟

tadhakkarū

they remember (Allah)

فَإِذَا

fa-idhā

and then

هُم

hum

they

مُّبْصِرُونَ

mub'ṣirūna

(are) those who see (aright)

وَإِخْوَٰنُهُمْ

wa-ikh'wānuhum

But their brothers

يَمُدُّونَهُمْ

yamuddūnahum

they plunge them

فِى

fī

in

ٱلْغَىِّ

l-ghayi

the error

ثُمَّ

thumma

then

لَا

lā

not

يُقْصِرُونَ

yuq'ṣirūna

they cease

وَإِذَا

wa-idhā

And when

لَمْ

lam

not

تَأْتِهِم

tatihim

you bring them

بِـَٔايَةٍۢ

biāyatin

a Sign

قَالُوا۟

qālū

they say

لَوْلَا

lawlā

Why (have) not

ٱجْتَبَيْتَهَا ۚ

ij'tabaytahā

you devised it

قُلْ

qul

Say

إِنَّمَآ

innamā

Only

أَتَّبِعُ

attabiʿu

I follow

مَا

mā

what

يُوحَىٰٓ

yūḥā

is revealed

إِلَىَّ

ilayya

to me

مِن

min

from

رَّبِّى ۚ

rabbī

my Lord

هَـٰذَا

hādhā

This (is)

بَصَآئِرُ

baṣāiru

enlightenment

مِن

min

from

رَّبِّكُمْ

rabbikum

your Lord

وَهُدًۭى

wahudan

and guidance

وَرَحْمَةٌۭ

waraḥmatun

and mercy

لِّقَوْمٍۢ

liqawmin

for a people

يُؤْمِنُونَ

yu'minūna

who believe

وَإِذَا

wa-idhā

And when

قُرِئَ

quri-a

is recited

ٱلْقُرْءَانُ

l-qur'ānu

the Quran

فَٱسْتَمِعُوا۟

fa-is'tamiʿū

then listen

لَهُۥ

lahu

to it

وَأَنصِتُوا۟

wa-anṣitū

and pay attention

لَعَلَّكُمْ

laʿallakum

so that you may

تُرْحَمُونَ

tur'ḥamūna

receive mercy

وَٱذْكُر

wa-udh'kur

And remember

رَّبَّكَ

rabbaka

your Lord

فِى

fī

in

نَفْسِكَ

nafsika

yourself

تَضَرُّعًۭا

taḍarruʿan

humbly

وَخِيفَةًۭ

wakhīfatan

and (in) fear

وَدُونَ

wadūna

and without

ٱلْجَهْرِ

l-jahri

the loudness

مِنَ

mina

of

ٱلْقَوْلِ

l-qawli

[the] words

بِٱلْغُدُوِّ

bil-ghuduwi

in the mornings

وَٱلْـَٔاصَالِ

wal-āṣāli

and (in) the evenings

وَلَا

walā

And (do) not

تَكُن

takun

be

مِّنَ

mina

among

ٱلْغَـٰفِلِينَ

l-ghāfilīna

the heedless

إِنَّ

inna

Indeed

ٱلَّذِينَ

alladhīna

those who

عِندَ

ʿinda

(are) near

رَبِّكَ

rabbika

your Lord

لَا

lā

not

يَسْتَكْبِرُونَ

yastakbirūna

(do) they turn away in pride

عَنْ

ʿan

from

عِبَادَتِهِۦ

ʿibādatihi

His worship

وَيُسَبِّحُونَهُۥ

wayusabbiḥūnahu

And they glorify Him

وَلَهُۥ

walahu

and to Him

يَسْجُدُونَ ۩

yasjudūna

they prostrate
