آل عمران

وَلَا

walā

And (let) not

يَحْزُنكَ

yaḥzunka

grieve you

ٱلَّذِينَ

alladhīna

those who

يُسَـٰرِعُونَ

yusāriʿūna

hasten

فِى

fī

in(to)

ٱلْكُفْرِ ۚ

l-kuf'ri

[the] disbelief

إِنَّهُمْ

innahum

Indeed, they

لَن

lan

never

يَضُرُّوا۟

yaḍurrū

will harm

ٱللَّهَ

l-laha

Allah

شَيْـًۭٔا ۗ

shayan

(in) anything

يُرِيدُ

yurīdu

intends

ٱللَّهُ

l-lahu

Allah

أَلَّا

allā

that not

يَجْعَلَ

yajʿala

He will set

لَهُمْ

lahum

for them

حَظًّۭا

ḥaẓẓan

any portion

فِى

fī

in

ٱلْـَٔاخِرَةِ ۖ

l-ākhirati

the Hereafter

وَلَهُمْ

walahum

And for them

عَذَابٌ

ʿadhābun

(is) a punishment

عَظِيمٌ

ʿaẓīmun

great

إِنَّ

inna

Indeed

ٱلَّذِينَ

alladhīna

those who

ٱشْتَرَوُا۟

ish'tarawū

(have) purchased

ٱلْكُفْرَ

l-kuf'ra

[the] disbelief

بِٱلْإِيمَـٰنِ

bil-īmāni

with the faith

لَن

lan

never

يَضُرُّوا۟

yaḍurrū

will they harm

ٱللَّهَ

l-laha

Allah

شَيْـًۭٔا

shayan

(in) anything

وَلَهُمْ

walahum

and for them

عَذَابٌ

ʿadhābun

(is) a punishment

أَلِيمٌۭ

alīmun

painful

وَلَا

walā

And (let) not

يَحْسَبَنَّ

yaḥsabanna

think

ٱلَّذِينَ

alladhīna

those who

كَفَرُوٓا۟

kafarū

disbelieved

أَنَّمَا

annamā

that

نُمْلِى

num'lī

We give respite

لَهُمْ

lahum

to them

خَيْرٌۭ

khayrun

(is) good

لِّأَنفُسِهِمْ ۚ

li-anfusihim

for themselves

إِنَّمَا

innamā

Only

نُمْلِى

num'lī

We give respite

لَهُمْ

lahum

to them

لِيَزْدَادُوٓا۟

liyazdādū

so that they may increase

إِثْمًۭا ۚ

ith'man

(in) sins

وَلَهُمْ

walahum

and for them

عَذَابٌۭ

ʿadhābun

(is) a punishment

مُّهِينٌۭ

muhīnun

humiliating

مَّا

mā

Not

كَانَ

kāna

is

ٱللَّهُ

l-lahu

Allah

لِيَذَرَ

liyadhara

to leave

ٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ

l-mu'minīna

the believers

عَلَىٰ

ʿalā

on

مَآ

mā

what

أَنتُمْ

antum

you (are)

عَلَيْهِ

ʿalayhi

in [it]

حَتَّىٰ

ḥattā

until

يَمِيزَ

yamīza

He separates

ٱلْخَبِيثَ

l-khabītha

the evil

مِنَ

mina

from

ٱلطَّيِّبِ ۗ

l-ṭayibi

the good

وَمَا

wamā

And not

كَانَ

kāna

is

ٱللَّهُ

l-lahu

Allah

لِيُطْلِعَكُمْ

liyuṭ'liʿakum

to inform you

عَلَى

ʿalā

about

ٱلْغَيْبِ

l-ghaybi

the unseen

وَلَـٰكِنَّ

walākinna

[and] but

ٱللَّهَ

l-laha

Allah

يَجْتَبِى

yajtabī

chooses

مِن

min

from

رُّسُلِهِۦ

rusulihi

His Messengers

مَن

man

whom

يَشَآءُ ۖ

yashāu

He wills

فَـَٔامِنُوا۟

faāminū

so believe

بِٱللَّهِ

bil-lahi

in Allah

وَرُسُلِهِۦ ۚ

warusulihi

and His Messengers

وَإِن

wa-in

and if

تُؤْمِنُوا۟

tu'minū

you believe

وَتَتَّقُوا۟

watattaqū

and fear (Allah)

فَلَكُمْ

falakum

then for you

أَجْرٌ

ajrun

(is a) reward

عَظِيمٌۭ

ʿaẓīmun

great

وَلَا

walā

And (let) not

يَحْسَبَنَّ

yaḥsabanna

think

ٱلَّذِينَ

alladhīna

those who

يَبْخَلُونَ

yabkhalūna

withhold

بِمَآ

bimā

of what

ءَاتَىٰهُمُ

ātāhumu

(has) given them

ٱللَّهُ

l-lahu

Allah

مِن

min

of

فَضْلِهِۦ

faḍlihi

His Bounty

هُوَ

huwa

(that) it

خَيْرًۭا

khayran

(is) good

لَّهُم ۖ

lahum

for them

بَلْ

bal

Nay

هُوَ

huwa

it

شَرٌّۭ

sharrun

(is) bad

لَّهُمْ ۖ

lahum

for them

سَيُطَوَّقُونَ

sayuṭawwaqūna

Their necks will be encircled

مَا

mā

(with) what

بَخِلُوا۟

bakhilū

they withheld

بِهِۦ

bihi

[with it]

يَوْمَ

yawma

(on the) Day

ٱلْقِيَـٰمَةِ ۗ

l-qiyāmati

(of) [the] Resurrection

وَلِلَّهِ

walillahi

And for Allah

مِيرَٰثُ

mīrāthu

(is the) heritage

ٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِ

l-samāwāti

(of) the heavens

وَٱلْأَرْضِ ۗ

wal-arḍi

and the earth

وَٱللَّهُ

wal-lahu

And Allah

بِمَا

bimā

with what

تَعْمَلُونَ

taʿmalūna

you do

خَبِيرٌۭ

khabīrun

(is) All-Aware

لَّقَدْ

laqad

Certainly

سَمِعَ

samiʿa

heard

ٱللَّهُ

l-lahu

Allah

قَوْلَ

qawla

(the) saying

ٱلَّذِينَ

alladhīna

(of) those who

قَالُوٓا۟

qālū

said

إِنَّ

inna

Indeed

ٱللَّهَ

l-laha

Allah

فَقِيرٌۭ

faqīrun

(is) poor

وَنَحْنُ

wanaḥnu

while we

أَغْنِيَآءُ ۘ

aghniyāu

(are) rich

سَنَكْتُبُ

sanaktubu

We will record

مَا

mā

what

قَالُوا۟

qālū

they said

وَقَتْلَهُمُ

waqatlahumu

and their killing

ٱلْأَنۢبِيَآءَ

l-anbiyāa

the Prophets

بِغَيْرِ

bighayri

without

حَقٍّۢ

ḥaqqin

(any) right

وَنَقُولُ

wanaqūlu

and We will say

ذُوقُوا۟

dhūqū

Taste

عَذَابَ

ʿadhāba

(the) punishment

ٱلْحَرِيقِ

l-ḥarīqi

(of) the Burning Fire

ذَٰلِكَ

dhālika

That

بِمَا

bimā

(is) because

قَدَّمَتْ

qaddamat

(of what) sent forth

أَيْدِيكُمْ

aydīkum

your hands

وَأَنَّ

wa-anna

and that

ٱللَّهَ

l-laha

Allah

لَيْسَ

laysa

is not

بِظَلَّامٍۢ

biẓallāmin

unjust

لِّلْعَبِيدِ

lil'ʿabīdi

to (His) slaves

ٱلَّذِينَ

alladhīna

Those who

قَالُوٓا۟

qālū

said

إِنَّ

inna

Indeed

ٱللَّهَ

l-laha

Allah

عَهِدَ

ʿahida

(has) taken promise

إِلَيْنَآ

ilaynā

from us

أَلَّا

allā

that not

نُؤْمِنَ

nu'mina

we (should) believe

لِرَسُولٍ

lirasūlin

in a Messenger

حَتَّىٰ

ḥattā

until

يَأْتِيَنَا

yatiyanā

he brings to us

بِقُرْبَانٍۢ

biqur'bānin

a sacrifice

تَأْكُلُهُ

takuluhu

consumes it

ٱلنَّارُ ۗ

l-nāru

the fire

قُلْ

qul

Say

قَدْ

qad

Surely

جَآءَكُمْ

jāakum

came to you

رُسُلٌۭ

rusulun

Messengers

مِّن

min

from

قَبْلِى

qablī

before me

بِٱلْبَيِّنَـٰتِ

bil-bayināti

with the clear Signs

وَبِٱلَّذِى

wabi-alladhī

and with what

قُلْتُمْ

qul'tum

you speak

فَلِمَ

falima

So why

قَتَلْتُمُوهُمْ

qataltumūhum

you killed them

إِن

in

if

كُنتُمْ

kuntum

you are

صَـٰدِقِينَ

ṣādiqīna

truthful

فَإِن

fa-in

Then if

كَذَّبُوكَ

kadhabūka

they reject you

فَقَدْ

faqad

then certainly

كُذِّبَ

kudhiba

were rejected

رُسُلٌۭ

rusulun

Messengers

مِّن

min

from

قَبْلِكَ

qablika

before you

جَآءُو

jāū

(who) came

بِٱلْبَيِّنَـٰتِ

bil-bayināti

with the clear Signs

وَٱلزُّبُرِ

wal-zuburi

and the Scriptures

وَٱلْكِتَـٰبِ

wal-kitābi

and the Book

ٱلْمُنِيرِ

l-munīri

[the] Enlightening

كُلُّ

kullu

Every

نَفْسٍۢ

nafsin

soul

ذَآئِقَةُ

dhāiqatu

(will) taste

ٱلْمَوْتِ ۗ

l-mawti

[the] death

وَإِنَّمَا

wa-innamā

and only

تُوَفَّوْنَ

tuwaffawna

you will be paid in full

أُجُورَكُمْ

ujūrakum

your reward

يَوْمَ

yawma

(on the) Day

ٱلْقِيَـٰمَةِ ۖ

l-qiyāmati

(of) [the] Resurrection

فَمَن

faman

Then whoever

زُحْزِحَ

zuḥ'ziḥa

is drawn away

عَنِ

ʿani

from

ٱلنَّارِ

l-nāri

the Fire

وَأُدْخِلَ

wa-ud'khila

and admitted

ٱلْجَنَّةَ

l-janata

(to) Paradise

فَقَدْ

faqad

then surely

فَازَ ۗ

fāza

he is successful

وَمَا

wamā

And not

ٱلْحَيَوٰةُ

l-ḥayatu

(is) the life

ٱلدُّنْيَآ

l-dun'yā

(of) the world

إِلَّا

illā

except

مَتَـٰعُ

matāʿu

enjoyment

ٱلْغُرُورِ

l-ghurūri

(of) delusion

۞ لَتُبْلَوُنَّ

latub'lawunna

You will certainly be tested

فِىٓ

fī

in

أَمْوَٰلِكُمْ

amwālikum

your wealth

وَأَنفُسِكُمْ

wa-anfusikum

and yourselves

وَلَتَسْمَعُنَّ

walatasmaʿunna

And you will certainly hear

مِنَ

mina

from

ٱلَّذِينَ

alladhīna

those who

أُوتُوا۟

ūtū

were given

ٱلْكِتَـٰبَ

l-kitāba

the Book

مِن

min

from

قَبْلِكُمْ

qablikum

before you

وَمِنَ

wamina

and from

ٱلَّذِينَ

alladhīna

those who

أَشْرَكُوٓا۟

ashrakū

associate partners with Allah

أَذًۭى

adhan

hurtful things

كَثِيرًۭا ۚ

kathīran

many

وَإِن

wa-in

and if

تَصْبِرُوا۟

taṣbirū

you are patient

وَتَتَّقُوا۟

watattaqū

and fear (Allah)

فَإِنَّ

fa-inna

then indeed

ذَٰلِكَ

dhālika

that

مِنْ

min

(is) of

عَزْمِ

ʿazmi

the matters

ٱلْأُمُورِ

l-umūri

(of) determination

وَإِذْ

wa-idh

And when

أَخَذَ

akhadha

took

ٱللَّهُ

l-lahu

Allah

مِيثَـٰقَ

mīthāqa

a Covenant

ٱلَّذِينَ

alladhīna

(from) those who

أُوتُوا۟

ūtū

were given

ٱلْكِتَـٰبَ

l-kitāba

the Book

لَتُبَيِّنُنَّهُۥ

latubayyinunnahu

You certainly make it clear

لِلنَّاسِ

lilnnāsi

to the mankind

وَلَا

walā

and (do) not

تَكْتُمُونَهُۥ

taktumūnahu

conceal it

فَنَبَذُوهُ

fanabadhūhu

Then they threw it

وَرَآءَ

warāa

behind

ظُهُورِهِمْ

ẓuhūrihim

their backs

وَٱشْتَرَوْا۟

wa-ish'taraw

and they exchanged

بِهِۦ

bihi

[with] it

ثَمَنًۭا

thamanan

(for) a price

قَلِيلًۭا ۖ

qalīlan

little

فَبِئْسَ

fabi'sa

And wretched

مَا

mā

(is) what

يَشْتَرُونَ

yashtarūna

they purchase

لَا

lā

(Do) not

تَحْسَبَنَّ

taḥsabanna

think

ٱلَّذِينَ

alladhīna

(that) those who

يَفْرَحُونَ

yafraḥūna

rejoice

بِمَآ

bimā

in what

أَتَوا۟

ataw

(they have) brought

وَّيُحِبُّونَ

wayuḥibbūna

and they love

أَن

an

that

يُحْمَدُوا۟

yuḥ'madū

they be praised

بِمَا

bimā

for what

لَمْ

lam

not

يَفْعَلُوا۟

yafʿalū

they do

فَلَا

falā

so (do) not

تَحْسَبَنَّهُم

taḥsabannahum

think (that) they

بِمَفَازَةٍۢ

bimafāzatin

(will) escape

مِّنَ

mina

from

ٱلْعَذَابِ ۖ

l-ʿadhābi

the punishment

وَلَهُمْ

walahum

and for them

عَذَابٌ

ʿadhābun

(is a) punishment

أَلِيمٌۭ

alīmun

painful

وَلِلَّهِ

walillahi

And for Allah

مُلْكُ

mul'ku

(is the) dominion

ٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِ

l-samāwāti

(of) the heavens

وَٱلْأَرْضِ ۗ

wal-arḍi

and the earth

وَٱللَّهُ

wal-lahu

and Allah

عَلَىٰ

ʿalā

(is) on

كُلِّ

kulli

every

شَىْءٍۢ

shayin

thing

قَدِيرٌ

qadīrun

All-Powerful

إِنَّ

inna

Indeed

فِى

fī

in

خَلْقِ

khalqi

(the) creation

ٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِ

l-samāwāti

(of) the heavens

وَٱلْأَرْضِ

wal-arḍi

and the earth

وَٱخْتِلَـٰفِ

wa-ikh'tilāfi

and (in the) alternation

ٱلَّيْلِ

al-layli

(of) the night

وَٱلنَّهَارِ

wal-nahāri

and the day

لَـَٔايَـٰتٍۢ

laāyātin

(are) surely Signs

لِّأُو۟لِى

li-ulī

for men

ٱلْأَلْبَـٰبِ

l-albābi

(of) understanding

ٱلَّذِينَ

alladhīna

Those who

يَذْكُرُونَ

yadhkurūna

remember

ٱللَّهَ

l-laha

Allah

قِيَـٰمًۭا

qiyāman

standing

وَقُعُودًۭا

waquʿūdan

and sitting

وَعَلَىٰ

waʿalā

and on

جُنُوبِهِمْ

junūbihim

their sides

وَيَتَفَكَّرُونَ

wayatafakkarūna

and they reflect

فِى

fī

on

خَلْقِ

khalqi

(the) creation

ٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِ

l-samāwāti

(of) the heavens

وَٱلْأَرْضِ

wal-arḍi

and the earth

رَبَّنَا

rabbanā

Our Lord

مَا

mā

not

خَلَقْتَ

khalaqta

You have created

هَـٰذَا

hādhā

this

بَـٰطِلًۭا

bāṭilan

(in) vain

سُبْحَـٰنَكَ

sub'ḥānaka

Glory be to You

فَقِنَا

faqinā

so save us

عَذَابَ

ʿadhāba

(from the) punishment

ٱلنَّارِ

l-nāri

(of) the Fire

رَبَّنَآ

rabbanā

Our Lord

إِنَّكَ

innaka

indeed [You]

مَن

man

whom

تُدْخِلِ

tud'khili

You admit

ٱلنَّارَ

l-nāra

(to) the Fire

فَقَدْ

faqad

then surely

أَخْزَيْتَهُۥ ۖ

akhzaytahu

You (have) disgraced him

وَمَا

wamā

and not

لِلظَّـٰلِمِينَ

lilẓẓālimīna

for the wrongdoers

مِنْ

min

(are) any

أَنصَارٍۢ

anṣārin

helpers

رَّبَّنَآ

rabbanā

Our Lord

إِنَّنَا

innanā

indeed we

سَمِعْنَا

samiʿ'nā

[we] heard

مُنَادِيًۭا

munādiyan

a caller

يُنَادِى

yunādī

calling

لِلْإِيمَـٰنِ

lil'īmāni

to the faith

أَنْ

an

that

ءَامِنُوا۟

āminū

Believe

بِرَبِّكُمْ

birabbikum

in your Lord

فَـَٔامَنَّا ۚ

faāmannā

so we have believed

رَبَّنَا

rabbanā

Our Lord

فَٱغْفِرْ

fa-igh'fir

so forgive

لَنَا

lanā

for us

ذُنُوبَنَا

dhunūbanā

our sins

وَكَفِّرْ

wakaffir

and remove

عَنَّا

ʿannā

from us

سَيِّـَٔاتِنَا

sayyiātinā

our evil deeds

وَتَوَفَّنَا

watawaffanā

and cause us to die

مَعَ

maʿa

with

ٱلْأَبْرَارِ

l-abrāri

the righteous

رَبَّنَا

rabbanā

Our Lord

وَءَاتِنَا

waātinā

grant us

مَا

mā

what

وَعَدتَّنَا

waʿadttanā

You promised us

عَلَىٰ

ʿalā

through

رُسُلِكَ

rusulika

Your Messengers

وَلَا

walā

and (do) not

تُخْزِنَا

tukh'zinā

disgrace us

يَوْمَ

yawma

(on the) Day

ٱلْقِيَـٰمَةِ ۗ

l-qiyāmati

(of) [the] Resurrection

إِنَّكَ

innaka

Indeed, You

لَا

lā

(do) not

تُخْلِفُ

tukh'lifu

break

ٱلْمِيعَادَ

l-mīʿāda

the promise

فَٱسْتَجَابَ

fa-is'tajāba

Then responded

لَهُمْ

lahum

to them

رَبُّهُمْ

rabbuhum

their Lord

أَنِّى

annī

Indeed, I

لَآ

lā

(will) not

أُضِيعُ

uḍīʿu

(let go) waste

عَمَلَ

ʿamala

deeds

عَـٰمِلٍۢ

ʿāmilin

(of the) doer

مِّنكُم

minkum

among you

مِّن

min

[from]

ذَكَرٍ

dhakarin

(whether) male

أَوْ

aw

or

أُنثَىٰ ۖ

unthā

female

بَعْضُكُم

baʿḍukum

each of you

مِّنۢ

min

from

بَعْضٍۢ ۖ

baʿḍin

(the) other

فَٱلَّذِينَ

fa-alladhīna

So those who

هَاجَرُوا۟

hājarū

emigrated

وَأُخْرِجُوا۟

wa-ukh'rijū

and were driven out

مِن

min

from

دِيَـٰرِهِمْ

diyārihim

their homes

وَأُوذُوا۟

waūdhū

and were harmed

فِى

fī

in

سَبِيلِى

sabīlī

My way

وَقَـٰتَلُوا۟

waqātalū

and fought

وَقُتِلُوا۟

waqutilū

and were killed

لَأُكَفِّرَنَّ

la-ukaffiranna

surely I (will) remove

عَنْهُمْ

ʿanhum

from them

سَيِّـَٔاتِهِمْ

sayyiātihim

their evil deeds

وَلَأُدْخِلَنَّهُمْ

wala-ud'khilannahum

and surely I will admit them

جَنَّـٰتٍۢ

jannātin

(to) Gardens

تَجْرِى

tajrī

flowing

مِن

min

from

تَحْتِهَا

taḥtihā

underneath them

ٱلْأَنْهَـٰرُ

l-anhāru

the rivers

ثَوَابًۭا

thawāban

a reward

مِّنْ

min

from

عِندِ

ʿindi

[near]

ٱللَّهِ ۗ

l-lahi

Allah

وَٱللَّهُ

wal-lahu

And Allah

عِندَهُۥ

ʿindahu

with Him

حُسْنُ

ḥus'nu

(is the) best

ٱلثَّوَابِ

l-thawābi

reward

لَا

lā

(Let) not

يَغُرَّنَّكَ

yaghurrannaka

deceive you

تَقَلُّبُ

taqallubu

(the) movement

ٱلَّذِينَ

alladhīna

(of) those who

كَفَرُوا۟

kafarū

disbelieved

فِى

fī

in

ٱلْبِلَـٰدِ

l-bilādi

the land

مَتَـٰعٌۭ

matāʿun

An enjoyment

قَلِيلٌۭ

qalīlun

little

ثُمَّ

thumma

then

مَأْوَىٰهُمْ

mawāhum

their abode

جَهَنَّمُ ۚ

jahannamu

(is) hell

وَبِئْسَ

wabi'sa

[and] a wretched

ٱلْمِهَادُ

l-mihādu

[the] resting place

لَـٰكِنِ

lākini

But

ٱلَّذِينَ

alladhīna

those who

ٱتَّقَوْا۟

ittaqaw

fear

رَبَّهُمْ

rabbahum

their Lord

لَهُمْ

lahum

for them

جَنَّـٰتٌۭ

jannātun

(will be) Gardens

تَجْرِى

tajrī

flows

مِن

min

from

تَحْتِهَا

taḥtihā

underneath them

ٱلْأَنْهَـٰرُ

l-anhāru

the rivers

خَـٰلِدِينَ

khālidīna

will abide forever

فِيهَا

fīhā

in it

نُزُلًۭا

nuzulan

a hospitality

مِّنْ

min

from

عِندِ

ʿindi

[near]

ٱللَّهِ ۗ

l-lahi

Allah

وَمَا

wamā

And what

عِندَ

ʿinda

(is) with

ٱللَّهِ

l-lahi

Allah

خَيْرٌۭ

khayrun

(is) best

لِّلْأَبْرَارِ

lil'abrāri

for the righteous

وَإِنَّ

wa-inna

And indeed

مِنْ

min

among

أَهْلِ

ahli

(the) People

ٱلْكِتَـٰبِ

l-kitābi

(of) the Book

لَمَن

laman

(are those) who

يُؤْمِنُ

yu'minu

believe

بِٱللَّهِ

bil-lahi

in Allah

وَمَآ

wamā

and what

أُنزِلَ

unzila

was revealed

إِلَيْكُمْ

ilaykum

to you

وَمَآ

wamā

and what

أُنزِلَ

unzila

was revealed

إِلَيْهِمْ

ilayhim

to them

خَـٰشِعِينَ

khāshiʿīna

humbly submissive

لِلَّهِ

lillahi

to Allah

لَا

lā

Not

يَشْتَرُونَ

yashtarūna

(do) they exchange

بِـَٔايَـٰتِ

biāyāti

[with] (the) Verses

ٱللَّهِ

l-lahi

(of) Allah

ثَمَنًۭا

thamanan

(for) a price

قَلِيلًا ۗ

qalīlan

little

أُو۟لَـٰٓئِكَ

ulāika

Those

لَهُمْ

lahum

for them

أَجْرُهُمْ

ajruhum

their reward

عِندَ

ʿinda

(is) with

رَبِّهِمْ ۗ

rabbihim

their Lord

إِنَّ

inna

Indeed

ٱللَّهَ

l-laha

Allah

سَرِيعُ

sarīʿu

(is) swift

ٱلْحِسَابِ

l-ḥisābi

(in taking) the account

يَـٰٓأَيُّهَا

yāayyuhā

O you

ٱلَّذِينَ

alladhīna

who

ءَامَنُوا۟

āmanū

believe[d]

ٱصْبِرُوا۟

iṣ'birū

Be steadfast

وَصَابِرُوا۟

waṣābirū

and [be] patient

وَرَابِطُوا۟

warābiṭū

and [be] constant

وَٱتَّقُوا۟

wa-ittaqū

and fear

ٱللَّهَ
